Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful ok'd building in a great location I recently stayed at this hotel for one night whilst in London on business. The hotel is located on a beautiful old street in Pimlico, which us ideal for Central London. Pimlico tube us just around the corner and the 24 bus stops on Belgrave Aroad, where the hotel is located.. Overall, I was very impressed and I look forward to returning with my family in October. The pros: All the staff that I met were extremely helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good. The location is fantastic The hotel us quite small which helps retain a sense of personal service A couple of areas for improvement: This hotel has a number of smoking rooms. I was originally allocated a smoking room, although the staff were very helpful when I asked to change. The rooms don't have air conditioning. During the current heat-wave, it was extremely hot in the room The room rates are relatively expensive considering Holiday Inn Express is a value brand July 20, 2014

It is an easy walk with luggage from the Pimlico tube station (5 minutes)...slightly longer from Victoria (15 mins), It is quiet at night with a smattering of small pubs for dinner just off the street July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for a London Hotel Overall its a great hotel for one or two nights. The location is brilliant, just around the corner from the Tube Station. The staff were all excellent, friendly and seemed interested in the customers. The night Manager was a little grumpy at 3 am when returning but who wouldn't be? I would recommend this hotel but if you are staying in the City a bit longer, then a hotel with a bigger room might be best - especially if two people are staying. July 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location The hotel was located in a quite neighborhood 10 minute walk from victoria station & 15 minutes from the palace. We only had one night before catching a flight out of gatwick the next morning. The hotel staff was very helpful, we had to leave before breakfast and they offered to prepare a plate of pastries & fruit we could eat+bring with us when we checked out. The room was extremely comfortable for our family of 4...strongly recommend staying a this hotel again. July 15, 2014

The fan supplied did its best but although the bed was comfortable I couldn't sleep until 0100hrs. Nice choice for breakfast,(soya milk was a bonus) would have appreciated tomato or mushroom as extra choice. July 9, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location I used up my IHG reward points I accumulated at my old job where I traveled 100% of the time. I decided on the Holiday Inn Express London Victoria due to the cost (points) as well as location and ease of access to public transportation. The hotel is located just around the block from the Pimlico underground station and a few steps away from the #24 bus route. The hotel itself is in an old building. The hotel is cramped, and the room is fairly small, but just remember you are in Europe and space is at a premium in London. The week my wife and I were there, the weather was pretty warm. It got up to about 80 degrees F later in the week. The rooms are not air conditioned. I had trouble sleeping with the high temps in the room, but my wife did not. Fans and cold bottled water are available if you need it. The rooms are clean though and the staff was excellent. The area feels safe and we did not experience any issues during our stay. The breakfast is adequate with several options available and does help out saving money on breakfast everyday. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to other people. I was satisfied using up my hard earned points on this property. July 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and Excellent Customer Service, but no A/C and noisy This hotel is very close to some attractions and very convenient to get to any public transportations. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't find any hotel with these type of customer oriented manager and staffs. However, I was very surprised that for the price that I paid for this class of hotel. There is no A/C in all the hotel rooms. It only have a fan. It is so hot and the beds are not that comfortable. Due to no A/C, we have to keep the only window open which made the room very noisy due to the noise of vehicles passing by. The 2 nights stay in this hotel are suffering since the room are hot and humid plus the noise. We won't be able to sleep for both nights. It is fortunate that we only stay for 2 nights. Otherwise, we have to look for another hotel that have A/C to get a better night of sleep. The hotel management should consider installing A/C in all the room. This will make the hotel more comfortable. UK is not a 3rd world country. The hotel is not a lousy hotel. It should provide A/C in each room. July 8, 2014
