I enjoy coming to Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses. I usually recommend them over any other hotel, but I would have to say I am disappointed with the way things were handled on my stay. Around midnight or a little after midnight the alarm system started blaring, not only disturbing my sleep but my 8 month old daughter's. My boyfriend looked around in the hallway and the people staying on our floor had the same confused look, worst than that most of us did not know where the stairs were located since there was no signs. After calling downstairs to find out what was going on the woman at the desk said with an attitude, "We have not seen a fire or smoke and we are handling it" this was all before I could even say anything and before I could she hung up the phone. Unable to call her back because of my now screaming baby, I looked out the window and majority of the hotel's customers were outside. After getting my daughter dressed and wrapping her in a blanket, the alarm stopped. Frustrated I took her clothes off and put her back in bed. No more than seven minutes later the alarm started blaring again. I enjoy being a rewards member and visiting the Holiday Inn but I feel as the management should have apologized and/or offered something since it was there fault that all the people staying there that night, had their sleep disturbed and it was a huge inconvenience.

Every member of the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The woman who took care of the breakfast area was topnotch in keeping the area clean and filled with supplies and food. We just wanted to relax when we were at the hotel. Everything about the hotel helped us do that! Relaxing in the hot tub to not being disturbed in our room by the housekeeping staff when we put out the door knob notice. All in all a very nice visit to the Moline area at the Holiday Inn Express!

This hotel was very accomodating, new, up-to-date, and clean. I initally was scheduled to stay at another hotel, but my reservation was lost and they had no rooms for me, but this new Holiday Inn Express was very helpful and convenient.
I felt that more lighting would be good in the room especially for a business traveler. That was the only downside.
