We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel…the rooms were extremely clean; the beds were comfortable; the showers were fantastic; the breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect! Additionally, there were several wonderful restaurants within walking distance! The manager, Frances, was extremely courteous and she keeps this hotel in tip-top shape! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Staff & Nice Rooms Staff did everything possible to make sure I was happy and had everything I needed. The airline lost my luggage and so I did not have my cell phone and laptop chargers. They let me borrow their chargers. I told them I had allergies, they brought an air purifier to my room. Literally, anything I needed... they took care of for me and fast. I am so grateful for their friendliness and assistance and even getting me to meetings when I didn't have time to rent a vehicle. Made a good friend in the Assistant Manager. She is good people. Thank you again... You are the BEST! October 1, 2013

We had a wonderful time in the town and especially enjoyed the wonderful service at the hotel. The night shift help, I think Kristina was her name, was very helpful and friendly.. We always arrive after 3:00 am and the young lady gives us a late check out, acknowledgement of Platinum membership and has a smile on her face. Highly recommend this property!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed before and okay this time We have stayed in this hotel several times for sports. This time to visit family. Previous times have been great; therefore, the reason we stayed this time. This visit was not as pleasant. The room smelled old and musty. Once you got in the room and stayed for a while the smell was not as strong. When checking out we wanted to pay cash. The lady ran our card instead. This was a huge inconvenience. She did feel bad; however, had to call once we got home and question the bill. It should have been explained before we checked out. August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay First, the location is super convenient. Right off the interstate, tons of restaurants around, just south of an outlet mall, and easy ride into Austin. The staff was excellent. Front desk was very helpful. Talk about clean! Lobby, rooms, bathrooms, all of the above were immaculate. We will definitely be back when our journeys take us that direction again. (The pancake machine was broken so not as many choices on breakfast. Plus I fault Holiday Inns everywhere for not having more fresh fruit to eat for breakfast.) August 21, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comparison to earlier stays. We had kept coming back to this hotel because of the large size of the rooms and the excellent breakfast, but this stay was not as pleasant as earlier stays. The staff didn't seem to enjoy their jobs as much as during previous stays. July 5, 2013

Have stayed at this location before and was shocked at the room condition, mirror on bathroom door had child's finger prints, tub was not clean and carpet felt moist ( had to wear shoes). Not sure I will be back, shame as this property is close to meetings and had planned to use in the future. May 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Enjoyable Stay After many years of travelling for a living we came to this location the result of my wife's work and her needing to come to Round Rock for employer training. Having retired myself at the end of the year we are adjusting to this situation but didn't want to give up accomodations I have been used to before. We were not disappointed. Every employee we came in contact with was highly skilled in the art of customer service from the young lady who took care of the morning breakfast to the front desk desk and housekeeping personnel. Our room was quite comfortable with plenty of room. If we need to return to the Round Rock area in the future we will not hesitate to stay at this property again or to recommend it to others, May 21, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Should have been Much Better We love the HI Express brand. However, this hotel was a disappointment. The bed was terrible. Lumpy and bumpy. The mattress should have been replaced long ago. The pillows were much too big and hard. They were not the soft and firm choices that we have become accustomed to at HIE. April 12, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff takes the extra stepQ I checked in late one eveing and after getting all settled in bed thesmoke alram started to go off with that chirp that says you need a new battery, Since no one from maintenance was in the night clerk was very creative in coming up with a solution, and went out of his way to make sure I would not have to listen to that annoying noise!! We had to remind staff several times for downstairs public restroom to be attended with paper towels and toilet paper to be replenished! After reminding staff 2-3times and 6hours later, it was finally fixed. The A/C in our room was warm, but staff was not accomodating to our needs. "That's the way it is and it's fine" according to staff. The room was definitely not comfortable. This hotel is in a convenient location, that's about it. We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations, and this was the worst by far. March 26, 2013

The hotel was busier than normal, but it was great to be close to the action without being in the epicenter. When we arrived, our handicap accessible room was missing a shower chair, but hotel management located one and personally brought it to our room within an hour. Wonderful, caring service. Round Rock is a great place to stay in the Austin area. This hotel is on Interstate 35, just 15 minutes north of downtown Austin. I had seen Round Rock Donuts and The Salt Lick BBQ on the Travel Channel. Both are close to the hotel, about 5 minutes away. March 21, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty This is the worst among all hotels that carry the name of Holiday Inn, and we have ever stayed as a priority club member for more than 15 years. The room had empty coke bottles, a bag of chocholates and a bag of chips were left on the counter, used soaps in the soap holders of the tub. Although the bed was made, but the linens were not replaced. Tiny hairs and some dust were found in the bed linens. When I called the front desk, he did not offer to replace linens, instead he said he did not have another room. The second day when I talked to the front desk, she just kept saying sorry, and did not listen to me what were the problems. I wonder what the "sorry" means if you did not listen the problem?
