Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience we stayed here new years eve and the hotel was very busy. We stay at a hotel every year for Nye and have had some bad experiences, but the holiday inn was excellent our room was clean comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and did everything to accommodate us. The pool was warm, the hot tub was great!! We will definitely be staying there again. Best new years we have had in along time. The only negative thing I could say about our stay was the breakfast area was very crowded and seemed not be accommodating to the amount of people and we found the eggs to be very salty. Also we were not told that we had a late check out with our ihg rewards program we are enrolled in when we called the front desk they said it was noon, but on the website for ihg it states that a perk is a late check out at 2pm . It seemed that we were not recognized as being IHG club members. January 5, 2014

We were unable to stay our full vacation as one of our child was sick with a high fever during the night which resulted in us leaving a day earlier than expected. Unfortunately the only negative thing I have to say is that we were on a floor that had a hockey tournament so they were quite loud till late at night and with two little kids it was a bit hard to get settled in and finally asleep with all the yelling and banging. But the rest of our experience was fantastic. Pool is gorgeous and the kids play room fabulous idea. We will definitely be back in a month or so. January 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by tv did not work, movie crazy expensive, staff nice but not helpful stayed in king suite, living room tv did not work , staff came up and changed remote but still not working ...they apologized and compensation or fixes offered. movie on tv was $16.99...that is crazy!!! no dvd to use our own video. had to have all of us watch movie on bed since tv in living room no use. room was ok size, clean and staff friendly. Breakfast next morning was included but terrible, tasted like powdered eggs, stale cinammon buns and bagels. none of the security locks in hotel worked for pool or gym so kids running wild in there...tried to work out but kids coming in and jumping on treadmill and playing with stuff. not what i expected from "king suite" experience. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by pricy overall, I found that I had no more of a better rest in this room than what I would have had in a cheaper motel. IN fact, the 2nd night in Saint John, that's exactly what we did, went to a cheaper motel instead of this hotel. And it was much more of a value. About the only thing good about this room was the fact that it had a huge king bed, and it was very clean. I found that it was noisy, at the time we were there there was a hockey team of youngsters staying there at the same time. Breakfast was a big disappointment. We got down there early, and just started to eat when the hockey team showed up and spoiled our quiet solitude once again. for the price paid we thought we wasted our money . I would not recommend this to anyone who wanted to budget money and expect a quiet stay with good food. November 19, 2013
