We made a reservation for two adjoining rooms for our family of five, weeks before our trip. When we arrived not only did we not get rooms adjoining they were on different floors! When we went to use the key to get into the room we discovered the same room had been assigned to another family. It took about 45 minutes to get the room assigned to two families straightened out. The sofa sleeper was uncomfortable. The breakfast was marginal. The Holiday Inn Express was the worst hotel we stayed in on our European trip. Stay in a European hotel where hospitality and quality are a priority. Never again!

The hotel is quite remotely located and the signs are quite bad. Easy to get lost. Important to put more and proper signage on the road.
Receptionist in general rude. His name was "Noe". Very slow, arrogant attitude. A young guest approach him for a pen, he kept her waiting for several minutes. Quite uncomfortable situation.
Indications how to use wi-fi not clear. The receptionist told me just one hour free, in fact it was available during whole stay.

For an overnight stop before or after flying this would be hard to beat. The room was very clean, a comfortable bed and the bathroom had a good shower and was well serviced.. There is plenty of parking (free) and several ristorante nearby. The pizzeria round the corner is not expensive and good value.It isn't luxury but it is incredible value and in terms of price to quality ratio I think would be unbeatable. If you are over 65 there discounts as well.We have booked again already for our return.

First of all, signs in the airport directed me to the wrong place to board the shuttle and I wasted 30 min. there waiting until I decided to call myself and was told to go to a different place to board the bus. I reflected this problem to the hotel staff and was told the Airport should be responsible to direct the guests to the right place to board the shuttle bus (when the bus drove past the place that I was waiting for 30 min. I saw a man waving frantically and the bus driver just kept going). After arriving at the hotel at around 7PM, the check-in process took another 45 minutes because there were only one person doing the check-in. After figuring out how to open the hotel room door (there's no handle or lever to turn), I find the room to be decent and clean.

Facility met our needs for short term after long flight across the Atlantic. Good location for early a.m. flights out of Malpensa.
Breakfast does not have an extensive selection of foods, especially if can't eat gluten.
We left behind an irreplaceable item, but staff refused to mail it to us in Venice, even though we would have reimbursed them for their time and effort and cost. Therefore, we are not impressed with the

Convenient, clean great service. One of the best I have stayed at. The breakfast is fantastic. The bar is great, the risotto is good even if microwaved. Highly recommend...
