Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great breakfast and excellent staff The staff was extremely attentive and helpful from our arrival to checkout. One of the staff even brought bottles of water to another lass and I who were in the fitness facility during workouts. Coffee machine and fruit basket available all day were a great addition. Breakfast choices were abundant after 6am. The toilet did not flush well at all and the shower curtain was not thick enough to prevent water from spilling all over the floor. December 4, 2014

Rooms small but sufficient and comfortable. Don't understand why one has to pay for overnight parking though - I had stayed 2 nights in another Holiday Inn the two nights before and did not have to wasn't as though I wanted to Park the car for a holiday period...think you have to consider this!! We were flying out early morning but were still able to enjoy a very adequate light breakfast before leaving. On return from abroad it was easy to retrieve our car and head home. December 2, 2014

Tested delicious but there was too much to eat. Perhaps you should offer quarter chicken portions as well as half chickens. Never mind, I really enjoyed the meal and will be back in January for more of the same. November 29, 2014

The possibility to have breakfast from 4 a.m. and the shuttle bus to the airport are also great. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Complimentary Wi-Fi. November 28, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Got the wrong price Normally when I make a reservation with IHG I get a confirmation with the price stated on it. THis time I was in a hurry and did not print the reservation. Well, the result is that instead of the usual fiftyeight I got ninetyone pounds. In reception they said I had reserved two rooms. Unless they solve this to my satisfaction, this hotel will not see me again. Francisco. November 26, 2014

This was a perfect experience for what er needed the hotel for....a quick overnighter and early transfer to the airport terminal in the morning. Arrived in the evening and got a reasonable sleep, this helped the next day of travel and meetings feel a little easier. Nice to be able to get an early breakfast too. November 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointed Having stayed here many times before I did not expect things to have become so bad. The first room I was allocated was on the 2nd floor and the decorators had been working there all day, the smell of paint was overpowering. I went to reception and a very pleasant and helpful girl moved me to a new room. The new room was tired and very cold, so I set the heating and went for a drink and dinner, when I returned the room was still cold so I rang reception and a rather patronising lady told me I had set the heating wrongly, I explained I had set it using the instructions on the wall and it was blowing out cold air, she continued to tell me how to reset it which I did and suggested I wait a while for the room to get warm, it didn't. I again rang reception at 11pm to be told they were very busy by the same lady and someone would come and look at the heating. At 11.50 pm I walked down to the reception where I spoke to the duty manager Jakub who was totally uninterested and while I tired to explain the situation was looking around the bar area, when challenged about his lack of interest he said he was checking the time. He again started to explain how to set the heater and I told him it was not working and asked for a electric type panel heater, he said they did not have any, but there were 2 behind reception. it was now passed 12pm and he offered to move me to the second floor I declined as by then I had enough. not good service and I now know why I am only a gold club member instead of the platinum I was for years. The variety of breakfast choices are reasonable but the addition of some bacon would be most appreciated ! Overall, the cost of a short stay is fairly good value. November 21, 2014

Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is adequate if unexciting. The hotel, which we have used many times, is very convenient for the airport building. November 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well geared for speedy service I was pleasantly surprised at my stay here. A comfortable bed, easily controllable ambient temperature and good bathroom. The internet was useless though - intermittent and unreliable. The satellite TV didn't work either. The floor numbering system is askew. I was on the top floor (floor 3) but my room number started with a 4. So had I not been paying particular attention to the receptionist I would have been confused in the lift. A fellow lift-rider was equally nonplussed. I had to leave before main breakfast opened but they provide a "light" breakfast facility which would have been better if it consisted of "grabbable" stuff like croissants, pain-au-chocolat, muffins, fruit and a coffee-cup-with-lid. Most early departures are tight on time at this stage but expect to have free tie at the airport. "Grabbable" stuff could be consumed en-route or in the queue at the airport. November 14, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Needed at end of a long day Staff 10/10 Room 10/10 Systems 7/10 I would have an automated check in process to compliment the front of house staff, my criticism being it can take some time to get checked in, this could be sped up as the rooms are operated via keycard. Also, could hotels stop insisting on the keycard being in the "light switch circuit",? please,! Would it not be more practical to use a motion sensor/heat sensor, instead of going into a completely dark room, and not being able to find the slot.. Or, perhaps extend the circuit via wired or wireless transmission to the door reader, so that lights are on when you first enter room..? Maybe have the initial lights on on a timer to enable the guest to see where they need to insert the card..? Other than that 10/10 November 12, 2014

Check-in was good, staff friendly and helpful, the room was clean, well-equipped... but the Internet signal in the room varied between weak and non-existent, while I couldn't get a phone signal either. I wandered up and down the corridor trying to see if I could get a signal, but without success. On the few occasions I managed to connect to the Internet, it was a ridiculously slow connection. Shame - as otherwise an almost perfect stay. But in today's modern World, internet communications are vital for the business traveler and an hotel has to provide this. November 10, 2014

We have a easy Access Rome do to my disability and find the booking process very easy " on line" . The help your self breakfast is included in the room price ,and I my opinion is very good. The Staff are always very friendly and consistent , it also offers free wifi wich is always an plus. Tj. November 9, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable rooms and very nice staff The room was clean with a large bed and a "pillow menu" - soft and harder, small sofa, TV. Bathroom with toilet was also alright. Breakfast we didn´t try, because we had flight very early, but dinner was excellent and for England in a good price. The staff was very helpful and polite. The only problem was an air condition. The room was quite cold and room was heated very slowly. Thanks for the tea in rooms: D November 8, 2014
