Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A hassled experience There was obvious stress and problems at reception when I arrived. The room felt 'used' with stains on the carpet etc and a leaking sink. I was shocked that another person was given the same key number as me and came in to my room after I had gone to bed. The TV kept cutting out, probably because the server was struggling. After I went for breakfast, I couldn't get back in to my room, I think because I had been checked out by mistake. Not the best of stays. A pity as I have stayed with Holiday Inn Express many many times and never had these problems before. Its usually excellent. May 19, 2013

I chose Holiday Inn Express Swindon centre because it was only two minutes from Swindon BR.I found the rooms comfortable,clean and great value.The staff were without exception happy,nothing was to much trouble for them,but the Jewel in the Crown was the complimentary breakfast,When I return to Swindon again I will certainly stay at this Hotel,and I would recommend it to anyone. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handy location Travelling between Cornwall and Norfolk this is a handy mid way break point. Alternative Holiday Inn next to the motorway was more expensive so ventured in to town centre. Good service and friendly staff made it worthwi. Will stay again April 28, 2013
