This was the first time i have visited this property. Its a property far from the hush hush of the beaches and situated at a very calm and a peaceful surrounding. The view of the ocean is superb. the hotel has good restaurants and the food is delicious. But though for vegetarian eater its not that tempting. The rooms are good spacious and good view of the swimming pool. But if your looking at some high tech modern rooms then i would say it needs a bit of up gradation. Good spa less staff made it difficult for appointments but after your treatment you feel just awesome. I would recommend this property for those who aren't looking to just relax be with themselves and not have high expectations.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by kapsi66 Good location and decent accomodation
An ideal location for those on a budget constraint, wanting to enjoy a beach location with premium facilities, obviously with constraints. The hotel provides a reasonably comfortable stay with decent food and decent staff. Business center not available. As the name suggests, for holidays only.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lindy/Malcolm Wonderful staff
My husband and myself stayed for two weeks. We had a wonderful stay, the room looked over the swimming pool and I was able to swim my lengths every morning at 7.30am. All the staff were incredible, they couldn't do enough for us. This covered the staff from the swimming pool, the restaurant, the reception, everywhere. We had smiling faces, and personal touches of what we needed.
There was a Hindu/Catholic wedding which went on for 4 nights. This was very exciting for us, but the wedding took over the whole hotel complex, which was a little naughty.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rohit S Great location with mechanical and impersonal service
The property though located in an awesome holiday location with an amazing and private beach is managed more like a business hotel, very mechanical and lacks the personal touch of a hotel designed to cater to tourists.
Will not hold the mechanical customer experience against the hotel as the brand is not know for pampering its guests. The service levels are normally professional however better trained front office team to manage guest queries is one area they can clearly improve on.
Food was good (only ate breakfast on the last day) we preferred to eat at fisherman's wharf and shacks on the beach.
I would recommend the property purely based on location and attractive tarrif

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ABhat Expected little more
Was not too happy with the quality of food, comfort of pillows and wi-fi connectivity provided. Most of the time felt bloated or uneasy after eating at Holiday Inn's restaurants. The pillows were very big and uncomfortable. Housekeeping gave us smaller pillows but were uncomfortable also. Wi-fi internet connection was very slow or unavailable most of the time.
But the staff was very well behaved and cordial. They tried to provide their best service. Other facilities like gym, pool, spa are well maintained and well equipped.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Niks La Excellent food but bad service
Absolutely NO recognition for a Spire member. Actually a few of the staff didn't even knew what is a Spire member. For this hotel property membership had absolutely NO value. Even before I traveled, I had called to find out the packages if any - Was NOT made aware of all the packages and finally ended up paying for things which I couldn't use. During checkout I did complain about this but it was all to deaf ears!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nikhil T A great family getaway
We had a wonderful stay and holiday. Thanks to the wonderful location - quick access to a pristine beach devoid of the commercial noise and distractions, and attention and care of a very warm and hospitable staff. The food options were good and delicious. No specific need to venture out, and that was the primary intent - to take in the facilities and natural beauty around the property and relax with family. Folks coming in for more touristy intentions might have to travel a bit towards North Goa (~1 hour to Airport, ~30 mins to Madgaon, over 1.5 hours to Panjim).
But overall we had a wonderful holiday and hope to return sometime soon.
