Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Absolute Wonderful Standout! Only a 12 minute walk to the Riverwalk, so for me just far enough away to be a part of it, but not in the crowd. This makes it easy to get away from the hustle and bustle of the walk. This hotel has an amazing staff, refreshing rooms, a fabulous restaurant (Bridges) and all for an affordable price! I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be "there" without the craziness! They do have a water taxi service to take you easily to any restaurant on the Riverwalk but we didn't use it. There is ample parking is right across the street and a great outdoor seating area! I will be back!! October 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Service When trying to locate the hotel, I must have missed a turn for I-35. I phoned the front desk and Joe stayed on the phone with me to give me specific directions of how to get to the hotel. I was so very appreciative and he was very helpful. October 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by My worst IHG hotel experience Recently I have targeting to stay in IHG hotels for various trips. Even before I become a gold member, just being an IHG you would get a special welcoming and something as simple as complimentary water. Hotel Indigo did not seem to care about that. When I became a gold member most of the time I get an upgrade - but this didn't seem to be in the hotel culture and I didn't bother to ask for it quite honestly. But to this point I am ok with all that. What I am certainly not ok with are the following: 1. A dog barking all night in one the nearby rooms.. Very noisy and it didn't seem like the hotel cares about that 2. Broken tiles in the bathroom 3. Hygiene concerns which I am willing to provide outside this review 4. Refusing to give a late check out.. I was never denied this request.. Quite honestly I was taking that for granted until I was surprised by the receptionist refusing and then he double checked with the head of house keeping who answered in a rude way saying "No.. Don't give more late check outs"... In front of me!! 5. The staff didn't bother asking me if I liked the stay when I was checking out. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, but there are plenty of choices near Riverwalk. My experience was one of the worst and I don't recommend this hotel. I was intending to write a formal complain but it is good that I got this survey so I hope it will do the job. October 25, 2014

Access to the River Walk was easy at a location that was not crowded or noisy. I will definitely stay at this location again if I am in San Antonio. October 24, 2014

Their professionalism made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. When I say service I mean from the Front Desk to the Dining, Bar, Maintenance, and Maid Service. It was Outstanding! The staff members were friendly and helpful. The only negative was a dog barking until around 10:30 at night, but this was only once. We would stay at the Indigo again! October 23, 2014

One item of quality was the insertion of a reference card in the key slot by the housekeeping staff recognizing our privacy, yet acknowledging that they were prepared to fix the room once we left upon notification to the front desk.
