Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved the hotel I chose the Hotel Indigo for its Riverwalk access. I was pleasantly surprised by the room and staff. The pool was in a great location, I didn't use it because of the freezing temps we had that week. I ate at the restaurant and had a drink at the bar and the service was excellent and the food delicious. I will definitely stay there my next trip to San Antonio. In the meantime I will look for this hotel when I book a trip anywhere. November 18, 2014

I can't say enough about Matt and Ruben in terms of their efficiency and speed with which they responded to anything we needed for our meeting, meals and problems. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok hotel, but overpriced restaurant This particular Indigo property, while not located in a very attractive part of town and is off the beaten track, has pleasant, comfortable rooms that are priced competitively. However, the restaurant is, quite frankly, a rip-off. I paid $18 for a TexMex meal that should only have been priced at half that level, $10 for a breakfast comprising a small, warmed-up bowl of oatmeal and a very small bowl of cut-up fruit (5 grapes, several cubes of cantaloupe, some pineapple, and a strawberry) that alone that was priced at $4.25. I travel a lot and am used to higher prices at hotels, but this was clearly a case of gouging. Also, a cup of coffee was $2.50. I would ask the restaurant to look carefully at its pricing and reassess whether their price points are competitive. I noticed there were very few customers eating in the restaurant. Perhaps I've given a reason for that. One small piece of advice if you're staying at this property. If you need a cab, be sure to ask for it an hour in advance. It takes easily 30 minutes for a cab to come to the hotel and sometimes cabs that are called never show up. Finally, be warned that the hotel does not have standard coffeemakers in the rooms. They have the Keurig machines (which I hate) and the in-room coffee is of very low quality. This is coming from a devoted coffee drinker. November 16, 2014
