Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Off-Smell in Suite To start off, this was my first stay in an extended stay property. While the convenience of the kitchen was nice, the smell from previous renters cooking was not pleasant. The AC worked well to cool the room, but it also gave off a moldy smell that I reported to the front desk. Overall, the room was comfortable, but the smell will prevent me from returning to this property. 17. November 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Halloween Getaway Had a false start initially, got to check into my room late at night (11pm or so) and the door was wedged open and it was dark inside. I immediately went downstairs and notified the front desk and was given a different room. I noticed through the survey that apparently as a platinum member I was supposed to be offered something open arrival (snack, water, points) I was not. I would say though those were the only two unfortunate things about the stay. The room was on the smaller side (stayed in the studio), but they really made great use of space. The room has everything you need, fridge, microwave, stove, utensils, pots pans, silverware etc. Everything looked really modern, the bathroom had granite/marble counter tops, the mirror in the bathroom was huge, the shower was very nice too and the curved curtain rod allowed for more space while showering, there was even a blow-dryer, and the lighting was fine. The only downside was the ventilation switch/fan probably needed to be a bit more powerful if you took a steamy shower it would take a while to clear out. The internet speed could have been better (2-3Mbps download) but I guess I can't complain too much since it was free. The bed was nice, and the pillows were great, I will probably end up buying them for my bed at home. The table for work/eating was a huge L-shaped table with a lot of space and outlets. There was about a 30 inch flatscreen TV which I didn't use but that was nice too, the room even had a DVD player (which I guess could have been nice since you can rent movies downstairs in the "Candlewood Locker" or whatever it's called). They even had on-site laundry which I think was free you just had to pay for detergent and such which was pretty nice. Overall I feel like Candlewood tries really hard to give you that "home away from home" feel, while still giving you a very modern and nice room at a pretty reasonable price. Oh one last thing is there was no way to close the curtain fully to get the room really dark. The main window had sheer curtains (thin, white, and see-through) so once the sun came up you were pretty much awake. 6. November 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Fantastic Long Term Stay Option I stayed at the Candlewood Suites Garden Grove/Anaheim while I sought permanent housing in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would gladly stay here again. The suite was recently remodeled, and very nicely appointed. The hotel is very quiet at night, and I slept very, very well. Everything you need for comfortable daily living is provided, and there's even a Lending Locker should you want a crock-pot or blender during your stay. The staff is very quick and accommodating should you need anything at all. A free on-site laundry facility is a huge bonus, and a small gym area is provided as well. There is also a small convenience-type store for food, sundries and toiletries. The property provides a free shuttle to area attractions and shopping, and is conveniently close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and larger box stores for whatever you need. Disney attractions and the ball parks are close as well. The staff at the hotel will become your friends during your stay, and are always available to help you with whatever you need. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent Room Walking into the room just gives a comfortable at home welcome. After traveling all day we were able to just put our bags down and relax. Bed was comfortable the temperature was right. We began watching a movie and almost immediately knocked out with no noise or people bothering us from the outside. Definitely will stay at this hotel again. 31. Oktober 2014

The place looks a little bit old and might need some renovations...the room was decent size and the bathroom was bright and water has strong pressure and hot too..it was a nice place to stay for brief period of time 27. Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 A good week Hello , I spent a very good week at this hotel . Everythink was quite good , clean and organized . When I had just arrived , the front desk was closed but the reponsible made my checkin fast and accurated . I only missed to ask for the housekeeping , i tought it was automatic and scheduled .
