Terms and conditions

The Air India/3X Promotion (“Promotion”) is available to individuals who are members of both IHG One Rewards and the Maharaja Club (“Eligible Members”). To participate, Eligible Members must register for the Promotion between September 15, 2026, and December 31, 2026 (“Registration Period”). By clicking the “Click to Register” button for the Promotion, a member is registering for the Air India 3X Promotion and accepting these Terms & Conditions. 

After registering for the Promotion, Eligible Members can earn Air India Maharaja Points on Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts during the period from September 15, 2026, through December 31, 2026 (“Promotion Period”), where the stay was reserved through an eligible booking. The miles structure for earning 3X is described in more detail below. The time needed for awarding miles can vary with each promotion so please allow up to six (6) weeks for miles to be posted to the designated account. 

For the Purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay booked through the IHG® Hotels & Resorts website at ihg.com using any eligible direct booking rate booked through the IHG® Hotels & Resorts website at ihg.com using any eligible direct booking rate. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion. Note that for purposes of this Promotion multiple checkouts for consecutive nights at the same hotel will count as one (1) stay; non-consecutive qualifying nights at the same hotel may count as separate stays. In the event that two or more Eligible Members check into the same room, base miles and any bonus miles under this Promotion will only be credited to the account of the Eligible Member who made the booking, for those nights that qualify for the miles. If an Eligible Member books more than one room at a hotel for the same or overlapping nights, they will receive bonus miles for this Promotion on only one of the bookings and only for the nights that qualify.  

Under this Promotion, 3X miles are awarded only in connection with qualifying room rates and other Eligible Charges attributed to room nights that fall within the Promotion Period and are part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. As stated, the “Promotion Period” is from September 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included. 

To earn miles for a Qualifying Stay at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts, Maharaja Club members need to be registered as an IHG One Rewards member and select Maharaja Club as their earning preference in their IHG One Rewards account prior to check-in. Base miles are awarded on a base rate of 2 Maharaja Point for every 1 USD. 

Earning 3X miles during the Promotion means that the total number of regular “base miles” and promotional “bonus miles” combined will equal 3X times the number of base miles the Eligible Member would normally receive on the room night rate and Eligible Charges. To receive “base miles”, an Eligible Member must have selected Air India | Maharaja Club as their earning preference in their IHG One Rewards account and to be eligible for 3X Maharaja Points, the Eligible Member must have registered for the Promotion. For example, for a 3X one-night Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay with a $100.00 room rate, where the Eligible Member earns 5 base miles per $1 USD under Maharaja Club, the Eligible Member would earn 500 base miles and an additional 1,000 bonus miles under this Promotion, for a total of 1,500 miles 3X the base miles. 

Participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts are those operating under the following brands at the time of the qualifying stay and are subject to the hotels participating in the Promotion: Intercontinental® Hotels & Resorts, Regent® Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants, Hotel Indigo®, HUALUXE® Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Holiday Inn Club Vacations®, Holiday Inn Resort®, EVEN® Hotels, voco® Hotels, Vignette™ Collection, Atwell Suites™, avid® Hotels, Staybridge Suites®, Candlewood Suites®. Six Senses® Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Ruby Hotels, and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts are also included among the IHG Hotels & Resorts brands but not all Six Senses Hotels, Ruby Hotels, Resorts & Spas participate in IHG One Rewards or are not yet fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards program are therefore may not participate in this Promotion. Room types and rates may vary by region and by hotel and are subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply. Any unused components of a rate are non-refundable. Rates are per room, per night, and extra person charges and rollaway bed charges may apply. Unless expressly included, rates do not include taxes, gratuities, resort fees, parking fees, or incidental charges, including food and beverages. The use of certain rates may be subject to applicable agreements(s). Other restrictions may apply. 

An IHG One Rewards member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards program and this Promotion is subject to the standard IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be accessed here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. An Eligible Member receiving 3X Maharaja Points in connection with a stay as a result of their IHG One Rewards earning preference selection or their participation in this Promotion is not entitled to receive IHG One Rewards points for the same stay. IHG may retract, or decline to award miles if the member was not eligible to receive the miles. IHG may also revoke all points in a member’s IHG One Rewards account if the member abuses the IHG One Rewards program, including but not limited to abuse of the point redemption process. IHG also expressly reserves the right to remove an IHG One Rewards member's points, downgrade their status, or cancel their account if fraudulent activity in connection with the Promotion is detected, and any fraudulent activity or other prohibited activity relating to a member’s IHG One Rewards account, this Promotion, restricted rate offerings, or the IHG One Rewards program is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in response to such activity. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG reserves the right of interpretation of the Promotion, as well as the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Promotion.  

Miles accrued, awards, and benefits issued are subject to change and are subject to the rules of the Air India Maharaja Club program, which are expressly incorporated herein. Air India may change the Air India Maharaja Club Program including, but not limited to, rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers or terminate the Air India Maharaja Club Program at any time and without notice. Air India and its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products or services of other participating companies and partners.
