*Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions – IHG Business Edge Status Upgrade Offer: 

In connection with IHG® Business Edge ,Virgin Australia Business Flyer is partnering with IHG® to offer Eligible Persons the opportunity to receive a complimentary upgrade to IHG One Rewards  Gold Elite Status for their IHG One Rewards membership after one qualifying room night is booked and consumed (the “Offer”). This Offer is in addition to the standard benefits provided by IHG® as part of its IHG One Rewards and IHG® Business Edge programs. An “Eligible Person” is a natural person (and not a business entity) who: (1) is an employee or contractor of a business which is a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member; (2) is an IHG One Rewards member; and (3) meets the Eligibility Requirements below. 

For an Eligible Person to receive IHG One Rewards Gold Elite Status, the following “Eligibility Requirements” must also be met: (1) while this Offer is live, an authorised representative of the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member (who is also an IHG One Rewards member) must enrol the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member for IHG® Business Edge, using the IHG® Business Edge URL included on this page; (2) the Eligible Person must be invited by a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member with an IHG® Business Edge account, using the functionality within the online IHG® Business Edge portal, to link the Eligible Person’s IHG One Rewards membership to the Virgin Australia’s Business Flyer member’s IHG® Business Edge membership and must accept such invitation; (3) the Eligible Person must be logged into IHG® with their IHG One Rewards member number and they must provide the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member’s IHG® Business Edge corporate ID (provided at time of IHG® Business Edge approved registration) when booking one Qualifying Room Night;  (4) the Eligible Person must stay one Qualifying Room Night; and (5) the Eligible Person must be registered as an employee of the registered company on the IHG® Business Edge Portal within the company profile.

A “Qualifying Room Night includes a minimum one (1) night booked and consumed at the IHG Business Edge program rate as confirmed by the IHG® reservation system. Qualified IHG® Business Edge program rates must include the IHG® Business Edge Corporate ID number. Qualifying Room Night stays can be reserved through the IHG® App,, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), IHG® Central Reservations Office or the property direct.  Bookings made on any other IHG® rate either through the previous channels or through online travel agencies such as or or other similar reservation sites will not be included in this Offer; these are considered as non-qualifying stays.

If an Eligible Person meets the Eligibility Requirements, IHG® will automatically award the IHG One Rewards Gold Elite Status to the Eligible Person’s IHG One Rewards membership. Please allow up to  8 weeks after the Qualifying Room Night for the status update to be applied. There is no limit on the number of Eligible Persons who can receive the status upgrade, but each Eligible Person can only receive the upgrade as part of this Offer once after they have booked and consumed one Qualifying Room Night. The Gold Elite Status will continue for one (1) year from the date it is applied. To retain Gold Elite Status, the IHG One Rewards member will be required to meet the status maintain requirements in line with the IHG One Rewards program requirements.

Registration and use of an IHG® Business Edge account and IHG One Rewards account is subject to the relevant  IHG One Rewards Terms and Conditions and IHG® Business Edge Terms and Conditions available on the IHG website.

Velocity members can also link their Velocity account to their IHG One Rewards account and earn Velocity Points on select IHG® bookings, including select IHG® Business Edge bookings.
