Canyonlands National Park in southeastern Utah is known for its dramatic desert landscape carved by the Colorado River. Island in the Sky is a huge, flat-topped mesa with panoramic overlooks. Other notable areas include the towering rock pinnacles known as the Needles, the remote canyons of the Maze and the Native American rock paintings in Horseshoe Canyon. Whitewater rapids flow through Cataract Canyon.

Arches National Park lies north of Moab in the state of Utah. Bordered by the Colorado River in the southeast, it’s known as the site of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, such as the massive, red-hued Delicate Arch in the east. Long, thin Landscape Arch stands in Devils Garden to the north. Other geological formations include Balanced Rock, towering over the desert landscape in the middle of the park. ― Google

The Grand Mesa is a large mesa in western Colorado in the United States. It is the largest flat-topped mountain in the world. It has an area of about 500 square miles and stretches for about 40 miles east of Grand Junction between the Colorado River and the Gunnison River, its tributary to the south.

The Cameo Shooting and Education Complex (CSEC), opened in August 2018, provides some of Colorado’s finest shooting and archery ranges. CSEC is located a few miles east of Grand Junction Colorado, at exit 45 off of Interstate 70. The Cameo Shooting and Education Complex is open to the public. CSEC offers great outdoor social distancing opportunities. We encourage you to get outside and enjoy our facility. No Reservations Needed for the Public Shooting Bays.

Sam Suplizio Field is a stadium in Grand Junction, Colorado, United States. It is named after former Denver Bears right fielder, New York Yankees prospect and MLB Coach Sam Suplizio. Suplizio Field is the home of the Grand Junction Rockies of the independent Pioneer League.
