The site of the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836. The San Jacinto Monument is a 567.31 foot high column topped by a 34 foot star. USS Texas, the second ship of the Unites States Navy is a New York class battleship. The ship was launched on May 18, 1912 and served during World Wars I and II. Climb 60 feet above the water to the Flag Bridge or 20 feet below the water into the engine room, sleeping quarters and medical facilities.
