Grand Canyon North Rim

The entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park NORTH RIM is located 77 miles south of Kanab on Highway 67; the actual rim of the canyon is an additional 14 miles south. Jacob Lake, AZ is located in northern Arizona on Highway 89A, not far from the Utah border. Grand Canyon lies entirely within the state of Arizona.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Feel like you've wandered into a fantastical landscape at Bryce Canyon National Park. The main attraction at this park are the hoodoos, or tall, thin spires of rock that rise from the basin. You can enjoy the best views of these unique geological structures from the Bryce Amphitheater. Cedar Breaks National Monument

At Frontier Movie Town, you can tour movie sets from Kanab's "Little Hollywood" glory days when hundreds of film companies turned the diverse and spectacular scenery into iconic images of the mythological West. The free movie museum on the back lot has original sets from The Outlaw Josey Wales, Sergeants 3, Desperate Hours, One Little Indian, Black Bart, and more. This free "Little Hollywood" museum lets visitors walk in the sets that immortalized the West.

Moqui Cave

Moqui Cave is a unique attraction just eight minutes from our hotel. Both an ancient cave and an interactive museum, the cave offers a mixture of natural history and cultural exhibits. North Rim Grand Canyon National Park

See the spectacular Grand Canyon from the North Rim, a more peaceful, less-crowded experience compared to the South Rim. Thanks to the higher elevation here, the North Rim is cooler and shadier than its southern sister. Spend time gazing at scenic viewpoints, like Bright Angel Point and Cape Royal. Keep in mind that the North Rim is only open between mid-May and mid-October. At just over an hour from our hotel, the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park makes a perfect day trip.
