Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great base for exploring London
A great hotel to use as a base for exploring London with young children. Exceptionally clean and comfortable family room. Next door to Slough train station, so only a 2 minute walk to jump on a train to Paddington. Would highly recommend this hotel to other families.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great for Legoland
Arrived tired from our journey but the check-in process was completed very quickly. I was a bit concerned about the parking but the space for moving the car around is adequate with a bit of shuffling. The room had already been laid out for us and our son really got excited about sleeping on the double sofa-bed.
We needed a bit of internet access for checking out some of the LEGOLAND details and this was really straightforward to set up. It also enabled us to plan a route.
The evening meal was fine - we had lovely Nachos although our boy's pizza was a bit tough and he didn't like the amount of pepper in the soup.
We slept well. Despite it being a light evening, the curtain blocked out loads of light and made the room very dark which is ideal for getting a little one off to sleep. We were a bit concerned about whether the car would be safe with a few of the local kids hanging around and making a lot of noise, but it didn't seem to be an issue later on.
We were on the side away from the railway line and on the 4th floor so we didn't hear any noise from the trains.
Breakfast was lovely. There was a wide choice that would suit anyone. We got down early and there were pastries, cereal, toast, fruit and cooked items.
We chose this Inn as it was convenient for LEGOLAND Windsor. There are far more expensive options out there - we nearly booked one. I think this Inn is better because it's in Slough (and therefore doesn't sound anywhere near Windsor unless you're local or familiar with the area). It took us less than 15 minutes from the Inn to the LEGOLAND car park and it's an easy journey.
Our lad said he would rate his experience as 100 out of 5. Obviously we need to sort out his math's skills but I think that's a measure of his enthusiasm. We haven't been in a hotel for many, many years but given the comparison with the cost and accommodation in Youth Hostels, it's clear that this might become a more viable option.
