The Stockport region has lots to offer sports fans. You can tour Manchester City's Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford football and cricket grounds, home to Manchester United and Lancashire Cricket Club respectively. Don't Go Home Without
Stockport lies within easy reach of the Peak District National Park, which has some of England's most beautiful countryside. The photogenic village of Edale is only 20 miles from the hotel, at the southern end of the 267-mile Pennine Way hiking trail. But don't worry: you don't have to walk very far into the hills to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the lush green landscape.
Take some time to discover Stockport’s history. You can learn about life in 1940s wartime Britain at the Stockport Air Raid Shelters, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Five minutes’ walk away, the Hat Works is a museum in a Victorian mill that recreates Stockport's heritage as a hat-making town. If you have kids with you, there’s an interactive Family Fun Zone where they get a chance to dress up.
