Quiet, peaceful overnight stay. Comfortable beds, clean room, good amenities, and excellent breakfast, All we could expect. Greeted as a platinum member upon our arrival by Stephon; offered our bonus points or gift bag, and he was extremely helpful, courteous and professional - would be a benefit to any Holiday Inn property.

Location, rates, and accommodations were excellent as expected-------excellent-------the staff treated us as personal guests, almost as if they knew us.
Our vacation was totally enhanced by our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in San Antonio. Everything from the comfortable bed, ease of controlling the room temperature, to the luxury bath made us feel at home.

We had two rooms and they both smelled bad. The first was extreme musty smell coming from the air conditioner that had been set at 68 degrees. The second room smelled like urine and a flowery cover up smell.

They did a good job. Everything was clean, the value of everything was consistent with other hotel's prices and this hotel's price. I mean hotels run a pretty mean game price wise but that's partially because people vote for hotel tax at 16%, which is absurd. The biggest changes I'd hope for are the same as I hope for with every Holiday Inn (and every other hotel room I've been in to be honest.) I don't understand why smoke detectors and TV related devices need lights that stay on 24/7, and I'd really love some blackout curtains.
