I stayed here in the middle of the week, which is probably preferable to Ludlow on the weekend. Nice place, with nice rooms. Only problem is all the awful mr brainwash art which I don’t really like to see in general.

It's a nice hotel in the NOHO neighborhood. The surroundings are very New York'ish - plenty of restaurants and cafés, busy not quite clear streets. The hotel itself doesn't disappoint. I got a clean and spacious room. The view was fine.

This is a great space in the East Village. Staff was super helpful, making check-in a breeze. The rooftop pool provided really nice views of the city, with select hours that were exclusive for hotel guests. Room was spacious and modern, also providing a nice view of the city skyline. Definitely hope to stay here again on my next trip to NYC.
Party hotel but little else

If you are in the mood for going out in the lower east side this hotel is fine. But other than location there is little else to enjoy. The staff is unattentive and unhelpful. There is no room service and not much in the way of a mini bar. There is no breakfast options as there is no room service nor breakfast buffet. The tiny pool on the roof is nice and the view is great but if you are there for work, tourism, or anything else that has you spending longer periods in the hotel, you might want to look at staying somewhere else.

Truly exceptional customer service - completely ideal location for the New York City experience without the trappings of the touristy areas. Within walking distance of Flat Iron, the Village, Chinatown/Little Italy and subways to Brooklyn. The housekeeping staff are exceptional - friendly, accommodating and very pleasant people.
Excited that the pool arrangements were finally worked out, though I still prefer the pre-COVID hours and usage.
Highly recommend the Hotel.
Cons:
The interior facade and rooms need a deep cleaning, a true updating and refreshing paint job and some elbow grease.
Mr Purple - too loud at night, you can still hear it on the 19th Floor.
Understanding that the hotel and Mr Purple are two different businesses, it's really odd that you can't charge a drink to your room and Mr. Purple bar staff are surly, rude and unpleasant (even when the time is early and the place is empty) - I always get the vibe that they are doing me a favor by allowing me to order a drink from them.
Elevators are inconsistent and constantly in maintenance.

The design and location of this hotel are amazing. Rooftop bar and pool is more for partying than anything. The room was a nice size for nyc. But the air conditioner didn’t work properly and it was very hot and humid during my stay. I liked the bathroom and the room is relatively quiet once you’re in your room. So that’s nice. For the price in this location, it’s not bad at all.

Extremely happy by the courtesy of the front desk team who upgraded us when they found out when were on our honeymoon.
Overall the hotel was very nice, stylish and helpful!

Ive stayed at this hotel many times and this was the first disappointment i had….
At the outset when we booked the hotel it was supposed to be a view. It ended up being an obstructed view from the adjacent building.
Then they started adding on mandatory fee’s like 20 dollars a day to take from the snack bar.
On top of that room service was atrocious they threw new towels on the floor of the room and never even gave us soap or shampoo to use in the shower!
The furniture and state of the rooms are quite used and abused… and the cleanliness from the room service was abysmal
What has happened to my favourite place to stay in NYC!

The room was very big and accommodated a family of 4 very comfortably--same with the bathroom--big enough for all 4 of us to be in there. The hotel website advertises breakfast and lunch options but we were told by the front desk that there was no such offerings. The pool closes at 5:30 which was kind of a bummer but it was a nice spot to hang.
