This hotel is so run down and dirty for how new it is. Check out the hall ways on the 3rd floor. Service is horrible. Loads dogs barking in the lobby seemed acceptable. No coffee in the rooms. Service in the restaurant is terrible!

Fantastic experience that keeps us coming back time after time. Great value, friendly staff, and extremely kid friendly! We have a large family (5kids) and the staff takes care of us each and every time we stay here!

My fiance and I were visiting Charlottesville from Baltimore for a birthday get away. This hotel was out of our league and were we blown away. My fiance's birthday was recognized with above and beyond treatment. My status gave us perks that we didn't realize would elevate our experience even more. The staff was super friendly and I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable—some of the best we’ve slept in! As dog owners, we really appreciated the pet-friendly policy, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and a real highlight of the trip. The valet service was top-notch: fast, friendly, and efficient.
Every staff member we encountered was professional, courteous, and welcoming. It’s clear they take pride in offering outstanding service.
Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

We came in last minute to see the campus after a long day of travel/traffic. Hotel is beautiful and convenient and the staff was kind and welcoming. It was more expensive than anticipated but the hotel was full and we booked that day so I’m sure it we would have had more competitive rates had we planned ahead. Would look forward to staying here again if the opportunity arises!

This was our second stay at Kimpton The Forum Hotel in Charlottesville. I can't say enough about the whole staff being as friendly, helpful, and efficient as they were. Katherine Hogan, front desk & concierge, was a delight. We emailed beforehand, and she came through, making our anniversary perfect. With it being a special stay, we had the pleasure of staying in a room with a terrace. We made good use of the outdoor space after the sun went down. Both times we stayed here, our rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I hope to be back again for our next anniversary...if not sooner.
