This hotel is anything but convenient. No fridge in the room even though it’s advertised. There is no trolley on the first floor, so you gotta run to the reception on the second floor and bring it yourself. Hallways are very narrow so you hear all morning housekeeping slamming and banging on the doors. All that to leave the room and have no service. Bed sheets were stained. Furniture was dented. They set a yoga mat and ONE block as if you had enough room to move and exercise inside the tiny room. We were planning to stay for a month but after three days couldn’t wait to leave this hotel. They charge a $20/day amenity fee and I just didn’t see the value. To be fair, they offered to store our food while they’d install a cooler in the room and gave us drink vouchers. The location was good too. Aside from that, staff is dismissive. We asked to be moved to a different room that actually had a fridge but never heard back. Did some research and found a short term stay in Murray Hill for a significant better price, three times the square footage and with a terrific attentive staff.

Excellent location, quiet and central. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Interesting idea to have a mini gym/ wellness area in the room. Silly expensive breakfast (McMuffin $18 anyone?). $25 daily resort fee? What exactly for? Room for improvement with room housekeeping. Reception area EXTREMELY POORLY DESIGNED (gets very crowded with four people).

Overall, good locatin, cozy but room size is little bit small.

I had 2 rooms, in one the door lock was very hard to turn, each time we locked the door we had to fight with it. On top of that the battery ended up going out in the key pad and I spent 30 minutes goin up and down the elevator getting new keys trying to figure out the problem. There was a hole in my fitted bed sheet which I thought was unacceptable considering it was right there on top up by the pillow. Sheets with holes shouldn't be used. In my second room, the toilet water was brown. It looked like it was stopped up
with feces. We had to wait for maintenance to come up and fix it before we could shower. He said he fixed it, yet it continued to be brown after he left. The toilet also continued to run non stop. The light/lamp attached to the bed was broken and just hanging there. Not a good look. How did the people who clean the room miss a hanging lamp and a hole in the bed sheet?

Great rooms, of a little small and the bar/breakfast area adequate. Reception staff need to improve their attitude and willingness to look at people when checking them in, etc. Very robotic and hardly welcoming.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the room itself was good, my overall experience was quite disappointing due to the staff.
The only positive interaction I had was with Sherwin, who was excellent professional, kind, and truly helpful. He was the only reason I considered giving even two stars.
Unfortunately, the rest of the staff were consistently rude and unaccommodating. The manager on Sunday was especially unprofessional and had no sense of how to speak to a guest respectfully. Their attitude alone has convinced me not to return.
Additionally, the hotel kept changing its policies. I was previously able to order takeout breakfast by calling, but on Sunday I was suddenly told I had to come downstairs and wait. I was also granted a 3 pm late checkout, only to have it abruptly changed to 2 pm without notice, despite prior confirmation.
On top of all this, they charge for regular coffee and tea, which is ridiculous even budget hotels offer complimentary coffee. Charging for a regular hot coffee is unreasonable and disappointing.
Overall, aside from Sherwin, I felt unwelcome and treated as if I was a burden rather than a valued guest. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend it.

Stuff where helpful and nice. Breakfast was great and the service even more. Location is great - 7 min walking distance to the central station and 20 min walking distance from time square.

I had such a great experience during my stay at this hotel. From the start, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating — I really appreciated being able to check in early and enjoy a late check-out. It made a big difference in how relaxed and comfortable I felt throughout the trip.
My room was beautiful, clean, and super cozy — I absolutely loved it. Everything was well taken care of, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming from beginning to end.
Huge thanks to the amazing team for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

I came to New York on a combined business and leisure trip and found what I wanted in Even, a good room space for you luggage and also training. There's a nice office so you can sit and do your work

My wife and I stayed at the NYC Midtown East property this week and we were very happy with the experience. The rate we got was very reasonable for that area and the hotel was really clean and comfortable. Staff couldn't have been friendlier! Food was available from the steak house next door, or you could get snacks and beverages from their pantry. Also had a bar with a nice outdoor balcony seating area overlooking 44th St. If you are driving, there is a parking garage right next door that offers discounted pricing to hotel guests. Very convenient to so many places in Midtown: a couple blocks from the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Station, NY Public Library, etc. and lots of great restaurants. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again!
