Great location, amazing staff, clean and comfortable, kid friendly, and great private beach access, the pools were amazing too. Great breakfast buffet.
find better accommodations elsewhere, not worth it

Very disappointed, I paid extra for an ocean view room and when we arrived the employee at the desk said it would cost an extra $75.00. The hotel is over crowded and over priced. Not worth the money. I paid less for a much nicer room with a balcony and ocean front room and much nicer hotel with employees that new about customer service in Fort Walton Beach. I would never stay here again and would recommend finding accommodations elsewhere. The only positive was the room was clean with modern furnishings but the IHG website has false advertising when choosing a room at this hotel.

A wonderful stay at a beautiful resort on the beach with a clean facility, welcoming and family friendly employees, and a great outdoor pool! They have great access to the beach and fun activities for the kids.

The lazy river and easy beach access is what attracted me for a family vacation. The room rates for a small room and not a suite, was over the top. I paid over $600 per room and I reserved 4 rooms. For this much money I expected a much larger room with more amenities. The lazy river, beach, tiki hut, and the added Fairfield Inn access was a pleasant bonus. The grandkids loved the lazy river. Your staff was very accommodating and tried to make our stay very comfortable. There were a lot of activities for children, and this is what I was looking for. The game room was a bit disappointing, but it was on site, so that was appreciated.

We just returned from an amazing stay at this property and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our group included three adults and three kids ranging from 3 to 70 years old, and there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The resort offers a great variety of games and activities for all ages, our kids had a blast playing ping pong, giant Jenga, and corn hole. There are scheduled activities going on all day, and during our visit, they even had a Pirate Show and a Mermaid Show, which were huge hits with the kids. On the weekends, they said there live music on the pool decks, which we are looking forward to enjoying next visit.
We loved having access to multiple pools across different properties, plus all the hot tubs, and the lazy rivers! The game room and indoor pool, were handy when the weather wasn’t ideal for the beach. Speaking of the beach—it was clean & breathtaking!
The on-site food was tasty, and the ice cream parlor was a hit with both kids and adults. The breakfast buffet, while your typical Holiday Inn-style spread, was not bad at all. The food in the restaurants was better than I experience at most properties though. What really stood out was the exceptional service—especially from the food and beverage team. In the restaurant for breakfast Lisa (I believe) was so kind to us at breakfast.
Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming, but we also want to give a special shoutout to Devin at the bar, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He and his other bartender (I am sorry I dont remember his name) were so patient with multiple in our group (kids) ordering at the same time and with incomplete orders..lol
A real mess but their attention to detail and their hospitality really helped make the trip memorable.
As an IHG Rewards member, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room, which made our stay even better—especially since I didn’t even ask for it. The balcony view was absolutely beautiful, and the room itself was very comfortable. The beds were cozy, the water pressure in the bathroom was perfect, and the hot water never ran out—all the little things that really make a difference after a long day at the beach. I cannot remember the ladies that checked us in but they were super accomodating and helpful!
This resort truly offers the best of both worlds: family fun and adult relaxation. We’re already planning our return trip. Highly recommend to families, couples, and anyone looking for a stress-free beach getaway!

Beautiful hotel, my oceanfront room was really nice. Minor problems- shower leaked while showering and ran out into room. TV volume would just go silent and to get it back on we had to change the channel and then go back to original channel. This happened every 5-15 minutes all 3 days of our stay. Weird!! But everything else was great- cleanliness, staff, pool with lazy river, hot tubs, fire out with swings, hammocks, food from the bar and grill, location, etc. We enjoyed ourselves very much!!

Great hotel and location but a couple of issues. Main issue is bar and restaurant close at 10pm. Actually more like 9.50pm. Ridiculous for a resort. Front desk on check in gave me no information about amenities. I had to ask about breakfast, gym, location of elevators etc.

I would recommended this location before I left to multiple people. I have a 2 year old boy and the pool experience was perfect. The beach was not always the best option but the pool made the trip. The rooms at night were very quiet. The food was a little over priced but you just expect that when you stay at a place like this.

This hotel is a great option for a family vacation. The beach front access makes this hotel ideal for some R&R. There are so many things that make this a fantastic option for a family get away. The best part was how excited my kids were to play in the lazy river and all of the activities they offered for the kids on the daily basis. They provide a schedule with everything happening that day. My 7 year old daughter loved the mermaids and she got to get treasure from the friendly pirates. The bubbles in the pool was a great touch. The poolside kids movie makes taking a dip in the beautifully lit and glowing pool relaxing and fun. The tiki bar staff was super friendly and the drinks were perfect. They have ping pong, connect four, tons of lounge chairs, and some tables. They offer towels for the pool and have a shop inside with things like ice cream, sunblock, and boba. There was even fresh made popcorn one evening. Another perk was the hotel guest get a wrist band that allow entry to 3 other hotels pools in the same vicinity, all walking distance. The beach is a short walk from the pool deck, and there are umbrellas and beach chairs available for rent through a third party. Grab your cooler, sunblock, and towels and enjoy the beautiful white sand beach and clear water!
The hotels breakfast was also delicious. They offer a buffet or menu items that can paid for using your breakfast vouchers (purchased at the time of booking). I had an omelette (off the menu) and it was very tasty and delicious. The coffee was great, the servers were nice and friendly. The kids ate free, and there are kid friendly options like cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, and fruit. The location of the hotel is fantastic, near the boardwalk, shops, restaurants, and fun activities. Everything is walking distance.
The rooms were perfect, a great size and offered 2 comfortable queen size beds with optional bunk beds (at an extra cost of course). The restroom and shower had dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, had soap and lotion, not the small travel sizes, the bigger bottles mounted to the wall. There are lots for drawers and a good size closet, with an iron, ironing board, and a safe. The room also has a small fridge with a small freezer at top. There’s a microwave and coffee maker. They have ice makers and washer and dryers on the 5th floor.
Our room had the pool and ocean view, and they were gorgeous both during the day and night. The balcony makes enjoying the views from the room easy. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic for our family vacation. Both kids and parents alike were happy and enjoying the hotel with all it has to offer in amenities and location. I highly recommend it, especially for children, they will absolutely love it and will talk about it for years to come!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful at getting me a second night booked with a room change. My diamond elite status was recognized and the amenities honored. Great proximity to the beach, and a nice bar with great breakfast in the mornings.
