This Holiday Inn was not up to standard. No recognition of membership level and no notepad, pen, and laundry bag in room. This hotel is also on a step hill, so nothing is in comfortable walking distance. I also prefer a room with a tub, not just a shower. The room I had also was strangely laid out and had a noisy fan on the heater when it started which wake me up each time it started.
Probably avoiding Holiday Inn from now on

We arrived at the hotel and after checking in, we went up to our room. The room was extremely warm. We tried to turn on the fan or the AC and nothing happened. We realized we could not stay in this room. It was hot and stuffy, quite uncomfortable. We went back to the front desk and we were given another room which was 2 queens instead of the king we had reserved. We went in, tried the fan and were relieved it worked. Then I walked into the bathroom, opened up the lid and there was poop sprayed all over the toilet. Nobody had used the bathroom, which means the toilet wasn't clean. Our 5 year old was having a meltdown and we had to get him to sleep at this point even though we wanted to leave the hotel immediately. It was completely disgusting and we felt like everything was unclean if something like that was left.
Oh and there was only a portable ac unit so we couldn't close the window all the way so the bright sunlight woke our kiddo up early.

This property has very low quality for the prices charged. I had no working AC and was paying for a premium room. I also discovered a feces on a folded towel in the bathroom I would not visit this property again.
Friendly staff, clean with good amenities.

When we travel to Ellensburg we always stay at the holiday Inn such wonderful staff from Naomi at check in to the gal during breakfast to the maids all are very professional friendly and helpful wirh clean accommodations and wonderful linens pillows and beds. Love the suites with extra couch area.

Checking in through the IHG app was quick and easy. Once I arrived, the staff greeted me immediately and checked me in. Just five minutes later, I was in my room, which was comfortable and clean. The only suggestion I would have is to improve the iron and ironing board. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.

My daughters and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Ellensburg Holiday Inn. The pool and breakfast were the highlight for one daughter, the wifi and pull out couch were loved by the other, and I was exceedingly impressed by the kindness and positivity of the staff. Will definitely stay again!

The staff was very helpful at this location and provided quality customer service. The location is easy to access right off of Interstate 90 and has ample parking and nearby restaurants including good dining experiences and fast food options.

Our room on the third floor was large and at the same time cozy. We are allergic to pet dander, so we were pleased to be placed on a pet free floor. We were passing through Ellensburg on our way to Spokane and staying here overnight made the driving experience better. The bed linens were clean and soft. The bathroom was large. The price was right. We plan to stay here on future trips to Eastern WA. The only downside was the parking. We checked in pretty late and there were no parking spots left close to the entrance. The exterior lighting could be improved. We ended up parking on the Red Lion side of the hotel and were told to move otherwise we would be towed. Did not like this. Suggest that the hotel figure out a better parking arrangement with the Red Lion.

The Holiday Inn in Ellensburg is a great hotel for a quick stay or a multiple night adventure. With large, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast with a variety of food options, it is our go to stop in I-90. With affordable rooms and friendly staff, it’s #1 for us.
