This resort was amazing. One of the cleanest we have stayed in. The staff was amazing. The shuttle service was a great bonus. The hot tub was nice but it needed alittle cleaning (baseball tournament) players were staying so kids in and out of it a lot. The cleaning staff were on every detail and super friendly. Would highly recommend this resort.

I'll start by saying the views from the pool were absolutely stunning. The pool was nice and warm. Loved the tiki bar and drinks by the pool. Kids could stay there all day. Kids also loved the game room. I appreciated the free on site laundry! We go through clothes quick with kids. The food was ok, and a little over priced. Wish they offered free breakfast for guests. Staff was all very friendly! Our room was older and def more run down. Ceiling was cracked, black mold in tiles by shower that looks like they tried to cover up but still there. Needs renovating. Could hear people from the pool easily, which made it hard to fall asleep. Loved the shuttle bus into down for convenient traveling.
This property is a MUST for a relaxing vacation’

We stayed here last year and returned again this year! The property is beautifully taken care of. The view is to die for. We watched as people were emptying their lobster traps while lying by the pool. The food and drinks were top notch. Service was amazing, staff is very attentive to your needs. We will definitely return next year!

Maria was wonderful. She made sure we were happy with our accommodations.
Juliette kept our room clean and ready for us when we returned from our day out.
We would recommend and return here again.

We booked an Queen Suite room with Ocean view. We were disappointed of the Room (Rsvelt). It was noisy, cold, old furniture and carpet, no stores to close. At 5 am we were awake because the Room was clear. A Standard Room in the Main Building has better accommodation. Only the Price was an Upgrade.
The outdoor Pool is Open until 10:30 pm and used by the children, the bar for adults close at 9 pm.

There is no hot water in the bathroom. We called the front desk 2 times and they did not fix it. My kids just got back from the pool and they are so cold. We sleep in the cold temperatures the whole night. We did not get any respect.

Our family had a great stay in Bar Harbor! This resort exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for its proximity to town and Acadia National Park. Having access to the free bus was wonderful.

Room has a good amount of space. The bed, bedding, pillows were comfy. Great shower! The grounds are very nice! One big negative was my room had a balcony which was useless since you had to climb out of a window opening to sit outside. Climbing out is not an exaggeration.

Very nice clean, friendly hotel. Close to downtown. Bus stop in front of Hotel made traveling to Bar Harbor very convenient. Beautiful location.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Resort at Bar Harbor. The hotel is beautiful, and everything seems new and freshly renovated. Our rooms were very clean and also freshly renovated. The tile in the bathroom was very pretty. We enjoyed walking on the hotel grounds, and enjoyed some time playing pickleball, too. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. It was so close to the entrance of Acadia, and we were able to walk to Bar Harbor. There was also a shuttle stop for the free circulating bus in Bar Harbor right on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

I want to leave a review that talks about the resort as it is now and what it is going to be. Right now it is under a major construction transformation. Due to that, there was a lot of visible construction and construction dust in the hallway along with noise. The workers did try very hard to keep things behind curtains as much as possible. Once we were in our room it was newley remodled and very comfortable. The remodled lobby was stunning, very bright and open. There was always a staff member at the main doors to open them as we approached. The front desk staff were very friendly and positive. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub area right against the bay, the views were amazing. The location of this resort so close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia entrances cannot be beat, and when the remodeling is completely done this is going to be a stunning resort. Right now it is worth staying with the construction for the location and amenities. We will definitely stay again if in the area.
