The Perfect Day

Morning

In the morning, you can have your breakfast in Pi Chai Yard. Pi Chai Yard is a famous local snack street in Qingdao. Pi Chai Yard is located in Zhongshan Road, it has a long history and has also maintained its local culture. You can have lots of authentic snacks here such as Tofu Jelly, Fried Dumpling and Diced Pork. After having a tasty snack, you can walk along Zhongshan Road to visit the Cathedral which is the only ordained church in China, it also has the greatest Gothic architecture with 80 years of history in Qingdao.

Afternoon

You can visit the Gothic classic building—The Guest House. The Guest House was classic German architecture. It is very attractive inside and you feel like that you are in a royal palace. It is also a museum that reserves a lot of treasure from other countries. After visiting the Guest House, you can have lunch in a German restaurant called Rats Keller inside the Guest House. It offers brilliant German tastes and you can have original German cuisine there such as German sausage and roast pork elbow. You can then go to the Qingdao Beer Museum to visit the production procedures of Qingdao beer. You can also get fresh beer there. We are sure you will have an authentic experience there.

Evening

There is a food street called Beer Street it neighbors the Qingdao Beer Museum. You can have dinner in that street to experience local food and beverage culture such as outdoor BBQ, seafood in season and you can taste the freshest beer there. Beer in plastic bag is a special culture in Qingdao. At night time, the Olympic Sailing Center and May 4th Square are covered by fascinating neon lights creating a holistic environment. Whether you are staying at the hotel or walking along the seaside, you can luxuriate in beautiful harbor views all the while.

    The Olympic Sailing Center is a unique and distinctive sports area. It fully embodies the concept of "Green Olympics, High-tech Olympics and People's Olympics", the planning and design of the olympic sailing centre is the highest-class level in the world. It opened as a well-known tourist attraction in Qingdao after the Olympics 2008. There are lots of yachts for rent,you can experience the special feeling of the wind and waves with professional assistance.

  • Tsingtao Beer Museum

    The museum was previously used as an office building and a brewing workshop, it is a unique example of Chinese-German cooperation in the brewing industry. It is an ideal place to learn about Qingdao's beer history and culture.

  • Seashore Side Walk

    Qingdao has a 40kms’ beautiful coastline. The Coastal wooden walk way is like a beautiful ribbon, which links the famous Qingdao peer, Little Qingdao park, Lu Xun Park, Ba Da Guan, May Fourth Square, Olympic Sailing Center and other attractions together into a complete scenic travelling line. Take a stroll on the wooden path, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of this beautiful costal city.

  • Laoshan Mineral Water

    One of the most famous brands of Chinese mineral water comes from Laoshan Mountain which is located just 45 minutes drive from Qingdao's city centre. It consists of three different types of water you can distinguish the different types from the package of the bottles, for example it may have a red, green or blue lable.
