I like the fact you have an exercise facility, though it is small the information said we could also have access to a facility nearby. I went for a long walk nearby and felt quite safe as it is open and light. September 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great expectations this was our 4th extended stay and as usual things went well. one feature we really like is the free washer/dryer. it works well when i go to exercise; i can put a load of laundry in. the team members go out their way to make a stay very enjoyable. we look forward to our stay next auguast. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed for game day Clean nice place but it's a extended stay with allot of long term people there. not a professional look with all the coloring pictures on the wall. what I didn't like was no maid service so I had to bring towels down and exchange them at the desk and also had to remember bath soap. Hallway smelled real bad of marijuana when my son and I came home from the game, real turn off. August 26, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Inconsistent wifi I stayed at Candlewood Suites in Appleton from June-August 2014, During this time, I clocked internet speeds of under 1Mb/s multiple times. It was not uncommon to be booted from the web after as few as 20 min of surfing and would have to log back in. It was common that I could not even load a short youtube clip without having to wait for it to buffer several times. There is no oven in the suite, which was difficult during an extended stay. The rest of the kitchen was nice enough. There is a dishwasher in the unit, which was a nice plus. The Candlewood Cupboard convenience store was nice, but the prices were twice what you would pay at the grocery store up the street. August 23, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No internet for 1st day, still waiting for promised emailed invoice We've stayed at this property several times in the past, and have usually had no problems at all with it. For this latest stay (2 nights), the phones and computer system were down at the front desk when we arrived at 7pm, and the phones and internet were down throughout the property. The phone service person got that portion working in short order, but the computer and internet service company they use did not restore internet service until after 12pm the next day, and the front desk could not print statements for us when we checked out after the 2nd day. They promised to email me a statement but, if they did, I have yet to receive it. The front desk staff were just as frustrated as I was. I recommended that they hire a different company for internet and computer service. August 13, 2014
