    Nice hotel but needs a few people to be better staff

    I had room on top floor and was switched to first floor and then booked a different room and they tried to tell me they didnt have any rooms available but i am pretty sure ive never booked a room and been told they didnt have the room.some staff was super nice but a few staff was rather rude and id say ugly and i was not happy with that!!also i was totally over charged!!!!

We want our guests to have the best stay possible where everything exceeds their expectations. I am sorry if that was not the case during your stay. Our hotel and staff normally gets rave reviews for our beautiful hotel and excellent customer service. Your comments about your experience are not indicative of that, but please know that we take your comments seriously and will address each on our end. You can be confident that we will follow-up on your concerns so that others are not disappointed as you were. I am concerned about a couple of comments, and so I looked into it a little further. At the time that you stayed, it looks like you actually had three different reservations. Two were booked through a third-party internet booking agent (Booking.com), and one was booked directly through us. I don't see that there were any overcharges in any of the three reservations, however, there may be an authorization that can sometimes look like a charge, especially if it is a debit card vs. a credit card. Please call us directly so we can double-check that for you. Our direct number is 701-572-3716, and either Danielle, our assistant general manager, or I will gladly check that for you. If it is a pending authorization issue, those typically fall off after 3-5 business days, but it depends on the policies of the bank or credit card company that issued your card. If it is an issue with a pending authorization, we can call your issuer directly, if needed yet, to tell them that you have already paid and to please release the pending authorization. I did also look into the reason why you were moved to the first floor. We had a middle school and high school team staying with us for two nights that we wanted to keep all in one area of the hotel so that the coaches would be able to watch their kids more closely, vs. having them on multiple floors. We also try to put teams in different sections of the hotel so that other guests here for business still have a quiet section. Kids will be kids and will tend to be a little bit louder. However, our business guests typically want quieter areas. We try to accommodate everyone and make everyone happy. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of switching rooms and floors, however, in the long run, it was much quieter on first floor for you, which is what we thought you would like and appreciate more. Again, thank you so much for making the effort to share your thoughts. We value you as a guest, and I do want you to know that your concerns are our concerns! We appreciate your feedback and will use that to continue to improve our service to our valued guests.     The front desk hotel representative named Von or Vaughn (spelling?) was excellent. Von/Vaughn is so pleasant and makes everyone feel welcomed and comfortable and I can tell she really enjoys her job and what she does.

    BEST pet-friendly

    This is by far the best pet-friendly hotel I've stayed in and that's saying a lot since I've travelled with a dog for 10 years. This is the first hotel where my dog was not sniffing every inch of the carpet. In fact, I don't recall her sniffing AT ALL!!! Now that speaks volumes to how clean the suite was. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I also enjoyed that you can switch on the fan and it stays on. I've always needed white noise to put me to sleep and that fan did the trick. Even though the price is a little steep, I would fully recommend this hotel.

    Great price for the value and with less oil workers in the area the price of the hotel is reduced from the higher pricing it has been in the past. Reduced by almost $100!
