Accommodations good

There is very little to complain about at this hotel. We couldn't seem to get the temperature in our room where we wanted it, but that was probably because we didn't want to hear the fan blowing.

Clean hotel and easy access

16 abril 2015

Wonderful hotel. Not close to beach, but right off highway easy access. Drove to beach during the day, came back, showered, and drove back to boardwalk for dinner. Much cheaper than staying at beach hotels, would definelty stay there again. Took in a hockey game at the rink across the street.

Blast from the past

16 abril 2015

Hey if you loved the 80's then this is your place! Really good service and great location. I received a nice upgrade to the Presidential Suite which had tons of space. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective, the place looked like a time capsule from 1983. I thought sure that the original VJ's from MTV would be on the every channel of the TV. Again unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective they were nowhere to be found. Great view overlooking the water in the distance! Also, hope you love trains because they will be by often to say hey!

Great place, if you like to hear train whistles...all night

16 abril 2015

The hotel has a nice sitting areas and plenty of space. It is an old hotel with all the charm. The restaurant service for breakfast is good and the servers are quick and efficient. The pool is very warm, if you like to swim.

The bad news is that part of the hotel lobby was a converted train station. The freight trains still run night and day! Unless you are a heavy sleeper, the trains and their blaring horns will arouse you several times. Their exercise room is substandard. One elliptical and makes a terrible racket.

There are several hotels in the area on the same train line. So it is best to stay on the other side of town.
