Stayed in upper room that was kind of dusty but the room was nice, love the makeup mirror, staff were very friendly, location is very convenient to everywhere in South Hills.

Our stay at the Crowne Plaza was a pleasant surprise ! the service was outstanding.. from the front desk staff to the friendly female bartender in the Lounge. The coffee was really good..the food in the lounge was delicious and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to business travelers..or for a family like mine...

My husband and I simply wanted a place to stay for one evening locally where we could relax and spend some quality time together (away from work, kids, responsibilities)! Our check-in was extremely quick and easy. All employees greeted us with enthusiasm and kindness (even though it was later at night). We walked into our room to find it clean, accommodating and had everything we needed to make it enjoyable. We had booked the Rivers Casino package - which included a King room with jacuzzi tub and fireplace + $15 of slot money at the casino. I had no trouble at all redeeming the slot money at the casino. The whole experience was enjoyable and I will certainly stay there again in the future!

First time at this property. It was located nearby to where I needed to be the following morning. Super easy to find. Check in smooth and easy. Room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. I had a corner room with a ton of windows, which I love. The room was adjacent to the ice machine/pop machine. I didn't hear either one.
Parking free. Wi-Fi was complimentary (not sure to due status or not).
I highly recommend this property!

First-rate service, from the start of the visit to the end. Pet-friendly feature is critical, and staff showed great affection for our dog who traveled with us.

Was in Pittsburgh attending NCAA Hockey tournament. Hotel was sold out! Arrived Thursday and many people wanted to check in early. Hotel was short on cleaning staff and no rooms were ready early. Despite some disgruntled guests, the front desk staff was extremely patient and did their best to help arriving guests understand the situation. Still unable to check in early. Arrived back at hotel late Thursday night and checked in. When I opened the door to my assigned room, there was already someone sleeping in the room. Went back down to the front desk and the attendant on duty advised there were only single rooms available and myself and my traveling companion could be put in separate rooms for the night. I was then assigned a handicapped room which turned out had two beds in it but the clerk was not aware of that. I called down to the front desk and advised the clerk that there were two beds so he then sent my friend up to the room. This gentleman had no idea what was happening. The following morning there was a message from the front desk advising that they were again moving myself and my friend to another room. I could either come down to the lobby or someone would bring up the keys for the third room that had been assigned. When I left the hotel for the day, I mentioned the previous nights incident about someone already being in the room and the gentleman at the desk said "well unfortunately, that sometimes happens." I was a little taken aback by that statement. If it happens that often, someone needs to be retrained. Upon arriving back at the hotel on Friday night, our keys for our third assigned room did not work. I had the good fortune to speak with Lisa, the hotel manager and explained everything that had happened to us so far during our stay. She was very very apologetic and resolved our problems to our satisfaction. I would say that the overall treatment by the staff was great with the exception of the two gentlemen who were not very knowledgable. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Parking was great and the location to public transportation was great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Pittsburgh and are looking forward to a return trip. I am a Priority Club member but was never acknowledged on that. Special thanks to Laura, Laura and Lisa. They made the trip worth while. Will have to think twice about returning to this hotel.

Was there for a convention in April and everything went terrific. My room was great, quiet, and the ammenities were good. I really have no complaints. Would stay there again.
