Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not one of the best in the IHG hotel chain As an IHG Rewards Platinum Member, I always use a IHG hotel. But I must say that this one did not live up to it's standard, and one on the gulfcoast there too. The hotel needs to have an face lift to it. From the moment I walked in, I could see that stuff was old and not up to date. Don't really do b-fast, but the coffee wasn't hot or none available. February 23, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Less than expected from IHG As part of the IHG hotel chain, I expected quite a bit more in Biloxi. The hotel is in need of a facelift. The halls and room were worn and had seen better days. The shower bar in my room was about to fall off the wall. Two of the three ice makers I visited for ice did not work. The coffee pot wouldn't turn off so had to unplug it. There was no complimentory breakfast so ordered from the menu. The food was not what I expected and the complimentory breakfast was better at the IHG the previous morning. All in all, not a favorable impression. I am a loyal IHG memeber but would not stay here again. February 5, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ocean view suite upgrade We arrived to check in and were warmly greeted by name by the manager on duty. He informed us that they had upgraded our room. When we went up, they had given us a suite, overlooking the ocean, fantastic view. We asked for a recommendation for a seafood restaurant (even though there was one just across the street); he directed us to one a short walk away; and the food, drinks and service were outstanding. We'll definitely stay here again when passing through Biloxi. January 30, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Close to the ocean was a good thing The only good thing about our stay at this facility was that it was a good stop on the way to New Orleans and its proximity to the gulf. The front desk staff seemed more interested ion reviewing their facebook accounts than observing people waiting to check in or out of seeking information regarding the surrounding area. Disengaged is what it is called, I think. Rooms are what I come to expect, as far as cleanliness and comfort are concerned so that was not an issue at all. I am a loyalist when it comes to this brand of hotel or motel so staying here was not a problem, but was a little bit of a disappointment. The facility seemed a bit tired and old and could use an uplift in and out. The restaurant was not as advertised and the staff there was not up to speed when it came to serving or ordering. The food quality begged improvement. Updated evaluation instruments seem to be necessary when assessing staff competency and care for the people staying at this facility. January 20, 2014
