Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel With Great Service, But A Few Issues The hotel, having recently been remodeled, is beautifully appointed, and the rooms were some of the nicest I've encountered recently. The sofa, mattress, and pillows were all particularly comfortable, which I enjoyed greatly. The room itself was very clean, the hotel has a great fitness room, parking was ample, and the ability to select my room location was quite nice. On the downside, the hotel was lacking significantly in Elite Rewards Club benefits, especially when compared with other Holiday Inn properties in the Charlotte area. My first room did not have hot water, but I received excellent service (particularly from Matt) and was moved down the hall for my second night. In contrast, I found it rather annoying that housekeeping came around knocking on doors at 9:00 AM to see if I was gone, particularly since check out was not until noon. Two drawbacks to the location are that the hotel can only easily be accessed from one side of the road, and you can really hear the airplanes as they take off and land, especially on the fourth floor. Overall, the comfort of the hotel and excellent service at the front desk provide for a nice stay, and I would recommend this property. July 1, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lots of issues By far the longest I have ever had to wait to check in! Arrived around 8:30 PM on a Saturday and waited in a short line for 45 minutes before I was able to check in. Once I got my room key we had to walk across the whole hotel to find a working elevator and than all the way back across to our room only to find that the room key did not work. I had to go cut in front of a long line to get a new room key. Once in hotel room, as we were trying to repack from our camping trip and get ready for a 5:15 AM flight a maintenance person knocked on the door and said our hot water was not working; thankfully it was, but no idea why this was not checked before we arrived, let alone at 10PM. Did not get to sleep until 11PM, all in all a ridiculously expensive and restless 4 hours of sleep. June 29, 2015

Crab cakes were overcooked & had little crab meat,mostly bread. Dinner was $53. for two..overpriced for poor quality food. June 16, 2015
