This Holiday Inn has a challenge with keeping up. Outdated fixtures, odd and unpleasant smells, poor food. Wonderful staff help make up for the physical limitations

In order to meet with the needs of your guest, I suggest that the Management of Holiday Inn should be more flexible for the check out deadine for all the guest.
Usually the check out time for this place is 13:00 , as for this trip, our flight schedued was late night on 17/04/2014, subject to our special request , our check out time already extended to 15:00 . I really appreciated the flexible measure the Front Desk Manager shown on us.
Personally I think the Management should always take into consideration for the special request from their guest and subject to the rooms availability and exercise a flexible measures instead of insisting the guest to pay half day charges for extend check out time 18:00.

Access to the hotel and the surrounding area is clustered and not inviting (less to do with Holiday Inn, but rather the City). The entrance and security check point looks untidy, seems like you are entering a prison.
My room seemed dated, carpets looked filthy, because of all the marks I suppose, but some areas were actually not vacuumed (dirty). The bathroom is very tiny and dated.
