Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shuttle Service is Excellent I have been coming down to this property for over 30 years and I think was there when it was first built. I stay there even with more modern facilities available because I have never had a bad stay. This trip is the first time our family utilized the shuttle service from the Hotel to the airport and again picked back up from the airport by shuttle for another nights stay in between stays flew off to Las Vegas. The two (2) shuttle drivers we had, to and from the airport were excellent. So much so they needed to be mentioned as I think they meet the mark and went beyond with friendliness and open real hospitality. Nothing better than being sent off like family and being picked up in the same manner and brought back to a Holiday Inn that felt like coming home. Hats off to those Great Shuttle Drivers, more than just an employee but the face, and best foot forward of Holiday Inn. Thanks, The MacKENZIE's November 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Room, good location Nothing really special but a good hotel and for a reasonable price. I still think that PLATINUM customers should get free breakfast at ANY IHG hotel. This one does not allow it others do. I didn't want a drink coupon and I didn't want anymore of the trail mix and water, tired of them... They would not give free breakfast in exchange. We come to your hotels for these perks and its not really a perk to get a bottle of water and the same sunflower seed trail mix... Other than that, I'm happy with the hotel. November 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pool is great for Kid's We stayed at the hotel with our Grand daughter and she loved the pool. It has slides and a Pirate ship to climb on and slide off of! She is 2 years old and there was a 6 inch area for her to walk in and have fun! November 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy beds and fantastic food Stayed 3 nights slept great food at the restaurant was fabulous dinner and breakfast. Stayed there for business reasons found the pricing to not be competive with other motels that are updated And new. And put lamps with the outlets built in to them so you can plug your cell phone in by the bed. The one room I stayed had stained carpets and appeared to be blood stains on the inside of the bathroom door. November 9, 2014

The host automatically and enthusiastically upgraded my room and verified my preference for points or water. Normally I have to remind them or ask for both of the above listed perks. The hotel is large and run down. In bad need to paint, new carpet, etc. As I recently completed a marathon, I was looking forward to the whirlpool tub. The tub was not working! With some capital investment into the building and rooms, IHG could greatly improve its presence. November 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Great example of an IHG property,, except From the moment I stepped inside the lobby area, throughout my entire stay, I was impressed. I never met anyone who was not in a happy mood and made me feel like they were glad I was there. The only thing I was not happy about was the SLOW internet service. I use the internet every time I check into a motel, and if this was the best they offer as far as connectivity, then I need to look further for the things I need. Don't get me wrong,,, the amenities and the property was great, but the Wi-Fi was close to not there. October 26, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff, but noisy and worn out Staff were very friendly and helpful, but our room was worn out looking, especially the woodwork and carpeting. It was also a very noisy hotel and not an easy place to relax. The pool is great for kids, but not for adults or anybody who doesn't want to get sprayed by some unattended child spraying the canons on the pirate ship. The rules clearly state no children under 12 in the hot tub, yet it was full of toddlers, so that wasn't even a good place to relax. Nice proximity to the mall, but I wouldn't stay there again. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Over Priced The location was great. We went as a family, and my 12 year old was bored in the pool area. It is more for small children. I felt the room was a bit small. When I checked in the staff was very friendly. My concern was when she asked for my address and phone number out loud. As a female traveling, and a lobby full of customers, I do not think this was safe. I think this process needs to change.We requested a room with a fridge and micowave, we only had a fridge. I had no problems at the front desk...even got to make a payment and received a receipt! The room was nicely decorated & comfortable! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fun pool but poolside rooms are loud. The pool is awesome for kids. Lots of slides and even if there are a lot of people there, it doesn't get too crowded. The beds are comfortable, but if you want a good night's sleep, don't go with a poolside room. The noise from the pool is VERY loud. Also, I think that it's really annoying when people push a bunch of tables together to have a birthday party and hog them for the WHOLE weekend. it's like someone having a party on your front step if they are right outside your door. At one point, we couldn't even get to our room from the poolside door because they had the tables pushed up so close to our door. RUDE. That isn't really the hotel's fault though. There are just a lot of rude people that stay there I think. It's happened twice now, so it's not just an isolated incident. People get there early and save tables for their party and then use them the whole weekend. Just really annoying when they block our door. October 23, 2014

It was very clear that the room was recently updated with Holiday Inn's new design elements, but the room still had several key issues. 1. Smell; it was very dingy smelling, maybe mildew? 2. Noise; the entry door had over an inch between the bottom of the door and the floor. Any noise in the hall echoed straight into the room, I imagine the noise went both ways as well. 3. Finish; The floor in the room was not flat it felt as though the subfloor had waves (Significant enough to trip the unknowing). Keep in mind these are not ripples in carpet, but solid differences in floor height across the room. October 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay was Good The room was clean and comfortable but I was disappointed there was not a microwave in our room. We were there for 2 nights and I had leftovers I could have heated up but no way to do that and I didn't see one in the lobby. The pool area was nice, small pool but I did like that there is a large sitting area with a bar. Maybe some more snack options would be a good idea. The hotel itself is very large and there are several cleaning people always in the hallways. We did have a sign on our door not to disturb since we were staying a second night and they came in anyway but made the beds and cleaned up. I had left things lay out that normally I wouldn't have if I had known they were coming in but nothing was disturbed. Thank you! October 21, 2014

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, recognized me as a rewards member and looked up my number so I would be sure to get my points. Housekeeping staff gave me a very friendly good morning in the hallway. The food we had for our meeting was delicious!! Especially the caramel rolls and pastries! Yum! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay and facility- not so good checkin When trying to check in after 4pm, was told room was not cleaned yet. Asked if no rooms with king bed were ready and told no. Asked what area of hotel we would be in so I could park vehicle. Was told don't know until checking in and room number would be chosen then. Parked vehicle, sat in front lobby near desk and waited 25-30 minutes. Went up to desk and asked a different person about our room. She asked if we needed to be in the specific room attached to our reservation. I said no and was told no room number would be given until check in. She said we have another room with a king bed ready and was able to check in. Didn't appreciate the run around by first person, who saw us sitting there waiting and didn't bother to tell us there was a room ready. Just a bad experience when we were in a hurry to get to a dinner event. All other parts of stay were excellent and property was excellent. October 16, 2014

Just wished better communication with housekeeping that we had a Late time Check out. The interruptions were Horrible. Very disappointed that the rooms do not have mini fridges and microwaves. For the Cost per night they SHOULD!! This WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE Holiday Inn we have ever stayed in and thought we would get a bit of a nicer room for that Cost. October 14, 2014
