Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing night in Hull We stayed at the Hull Marina hotel primarily to visit our son who is studying at the University. We were welcomed as Reward memebers by a trainee member of staff who was excellent, check-in was a breeze, very friendly and welcoming and teh kids got Club biscuits as a welcome pack ! We were pleased with the room, it was clean and tidy. The hotel was close to the City centre which is where we spent most of our time and where we ate. Will definitely return the next time we visit my son. February 27, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced and tired I have been "forced" into going to this hotel for a number of years now (company choice) and i have to say it looks more tired and disorganised every time This is a hotel in serious need of a major overhaul in both customer requirements and staff. The menu in the bar looks exactly the same as it did 3 years ago,with the food being very average at best when it does turn up. The rooms smell musty and the windows in most of the rooms i have stayed in don't shut properly with gaps. The cleaners bang and clatter around in the morning despite do not disturb cards on the doors for night shift workers. If there was a saving grace it was the Reception staff,until my recent trip when i was spoken to by the night receptionist in a rude abrupt manner,before she knew which company i worked for i might add. I am pleased i will not be staying at this "hotel" again and hope my company sees the light in this overpriced tired place. February 20, 2015
