I really like this hotel. This is my second time staying here. The only thing I wish it has is free breakfast. It would be a great hotel if it did.

Although I did not really enjoy my stay at this hotel, I did enjoy the room and the bed. The bed was very comfortable. The room I was given however, had someone in there so I had to go back to the front desk to get another room. Thank God it was on the first floor. The receptionist was very apologetic about it though. Also, this is the ONLY Holiday Inn I have been that does not serve complimentary breakfast.

CHECK IN: The staff while friendly and courteous, was reluctant to move me up to my preferred floor upon check in, so I did not press the issue. I was woke up by my upstairs neighbors at 4 am two out of the three days I stayed.
RESTAURANT/BAR: The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and helpful (Marisa was a standout), but the restaurant had a very limited selection of dinner items. Also, the bartender wanted to close the bar just after halftime of the College Football Championship game. I was disappointing that breakfast was not complimentary even for platinum members. 10 dollars is too pricey for a breakfast buffet that is similar to the complimentary breakfasts at other hotels.
The ROOM: Average internet speeds. Neither fast nor slow. Good selection of Television channels. The beds were VERY comfortable (Among the most comfortable hotel beds I have had the pleasure to sleep on), but the carpet in my room was downright DISGUSTING! (I am so glad I travel with house shoes.) The furniture also needed to be reupholstered, as the vinyl was worn through the lounge chair.

After spending fifteen minutes writing a previous review (which was rejected because I mentioned I would like switch to another loyalty program because IHG's top-tier status doesn't offer much), I'm only hitting a few points in the re-do.
Chloe and Marina are the only reasons to hit the bar or restaurant. These two really understand customer service, and Chloe should be the replacement for the inept Food and Beverage Manager.
The food and beverage issues have not changed in the months between visits.
The rooms are nice, beds are great.
Next time, I won't waste my time writing a review.

Curtains had holes; lounge chair in room had holes with filling showing through; light cover in shower was hanging off (was fixed on 3d day of stay). Room was never vacuumed. Three bobby pins from a previous guest were on the floor the entire time (I decided to leave them to see if room was ever really cleaned. The cleaning staff was courteous.
I hope our company does not ever put me in this hotel again.

Received an uncalled for wake up call at 3:30am - that was not pleasant. The staff apologize and said they were unsure why I received the call - still upsetting. They had trouble finding my card authorization form my company had sent in, but after lots of digging it surfaced, thank goodness. Clean facility, nice rooms. I did contact customer care and they took care of the issue. :)

This may be the worst Holiday Inn Property at which I have ever stayed.
The staff was inattentive and apathetic. The food at the restaurant was quite literally inedible. Just really awful.
The internet was poor. The Business Center was unusable.
The TV system was down (which they said was a city-wide problem).
I have contacted my Company and directed them to remove this place from our approved list.
I assume with the Military Base there, the need is so great that hotels don't have to be all that good. Boy, this one was awful!!!!!
