Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Haus zehrt nur von der guten Lage Als Platin Mitglied kein Upgrade erhalten, noch nicht mal ein Zimmer mit schönerer Aussicht, was dem Haus an sich keine Kosten verursachen würde. So durfte ich den Ausblick auf den Hof "genießen", wo mehr oder weniger rund um die Uhr beträchtlicher Lärm durch Beschicken der Mülltonnen und Versorgungsverkehr entsteht. Schließen des Fensters war aus oben genanntem Grund keine echte Alternative. Mir kam es vor, dass diesmal das Rezeptionspersonal etwas freundlicher war. Entweder hatte ich nur Glück, oder die zahlreichen Beschwerden in anderen Hotelbewertungen wurden endlich ernst genommen und es wurde für Verbesserung gesorgt. Das Haus hat mit fast 600 Zimmern eine viel zu hohe Kapazität für die anderen Bereiche des Hotels. Besonders unangenehm macht sich dies in dem kleinen Frühstücksbereich bemerkbar. Wenigstens hat man hier die Anzahl der Kaffeeautomaten gegenüber meinem letzten Besuch erhöht, so dass zumindest dieses Nadelöhr vermieden wird. Insgesamt wünsche ich mir eine Komplettsanierung des Hauses, bei dem aus derzeit 3 Zimmern 2 gemacht werden. Damit wäre dann auch Platz für Betten oberhalb der derzeitigen Jugendherbergsgröße. Auch der Sanitärbereich im Zimmer könnte dann einem **** Hotel adäquat gestaltet werden. November 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great improvements I regularly stay in this hotel, about 7 days a month. It was great to see that much of the feedback has been taken on-board. They now have a separate counter for IHG members, and more staff on the reception desk. Even this busy Electronica week the queues were not evident. The breakfast is great, but still needs improvement in the organisation, spoons in one place bowls the other side of the queue and juice in the way of everybody. Great environment in the bar, and friendly service from the staff. A few more improvements to go and it will be a great hotel. November 15, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Missing Bonus points again! This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel in the last month and neither time have I received my bonus points voucher at check in. I attempted to speak to the front desk about this the next morning, but there were so many people waiting & so few staff that I left without bothering. In addition we were never able to open the mini bar despite asking the front desk who assured us it would be unlocked!! November 13, 2014
