What an experience!!!!
How come this hotel still has his 5 stars!
a background noise fills the rooms as if you are inside an engine, to the exception of very few rooms near the elevators.
Service is degrading, over 4 days of stay soap, shampoo... was not even renewed. Towel sets were always missing something , one day the hand towels, another the floor towel...
Even the floor carpet had on it lots of stains, it has not been changed since at least 2008 year at which I stayed in this hotel for the first time.
It seems the Hotel is falling a part and no body is caring.

I have stayed at this hotel for the past four years. I have seen better services from the staff; however this stay was less than I was expecting. The service needs to be looked. As a Gold IHG member I was not offered an upgrade or access to the lounge upon check in.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Al Qasr in October 2014 for business purposes. My stay was brief, but I enjoyed the hotel, the spa, the fitness center and the diet menu available. The Internet connection was excellent. I would certainly stay here again in the future.
