This is one of the very nicest Holiday Inns that we have stayed at. Would definitely stay here again. Food was very good at the on-site restaurant. September 23, 2015

Need a better menu.....and I ended up in a huge handicap room that I needed magnifiers to watch TV...and the tub was the shower which made no sense. Handicap with a climb in tub. When I know they have huge I mean huge walk in showers. And the smell of the stuff they spray is horrible. Had to buy candles to mask the horrible smell. September 22, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mattress I've stayed at this Hotel several times. We always had a good nights sleep. This time I had a problem with the mattress . I couldn't sleep. I got back pain. Maybe I had bad luck or I'm getting older. But, again, this was the first time at this hotel. Dinner was very good as always. September 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Many opportunites to increase customer satisfaction at Rock Hill Hello I have stayed at a lot of Holiday Inns over the years and for the most part every stay is close to perfect. There were a few issues at the Rock Hill location. 1. The TV in the room did not work and I was told maintenance would be up to look at it and that never happened. 2. The Breakfast experience was horrible. We were traveling for vacation with a 4 and 6 year old and read in both the room and on the board in front of the restaurant that kids eat free. We ordered 2 Adult items off the restaurant menu and we then had to ask what the kids could order because there was no kids menu in restaurant according to the waitress. We thought this was strange since we had one in our room but we did pick 2 items for our kids. When the bill came we were charged for both of the kids meals. I questioned kids eat free on the board and the waitress checked and explained kids eat free only when you order an Adult Buffet (this would have been an opportunity for the waitress to explain this hotel policy when we were ordering for 2 kids). We did not fight it and then paid for the $30 breakfast. We then went back up to the room, which did have a kids menu, and read Kids Meals are free whenever an Adult Regular Menu Meal is ordered. I then went back down to the front desk this time and actually showed them the menu that was in our room only to be told they have never heard of this before and they would have to check. When we checked out 15 minutes later we were told they were going to credit us for the kids meals and they were still trying to figure out what the rules on kids meals actually are since they never heard of this before. I have not check my credit card balance yet to see if anything was refunded or not. I know from my travels Holiday Inn tries to be as consistent as possible but the fight over these 2 kids meals really started our vacation off on the wrong foot. It was more than just paying the $10 that made the frustration. I work in customer service and know to look at all the facts before I come up with and answer to an issue. The staff at Rock Hill made me feel that I was in the wrong every time I stated their (Holiday Inn) written rules to them. It became a principle issue and me feeling unvalued and unappreciated as a Holiday Inn customer that I really take issue with. In my travels I will not be staying at Rock Hill location because of this and I am going to re evaluate my preference for hotels chains in my future travels. Thank you for your time and hopefully other customers will not have the same experience me and my family had at Rock Hill, SC. September 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Expected more for the price Disappointed...although it is a beautiful new facility, the staff lacks warmth and friendliness. The restaurant was expensive. Paid $18.93 for a breakfast of yogurt, fruit, 1 fried egg and 2 English muffins which was cold when served. Coffee in the lobby was a Starbucks vending machine (no complimentary coffee)! Just expected more being an IHG Priority Member. September 15, 2015
