Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissappointed I booked this hotel for my 22nd wedding anniversary, two rooms and was upgraded to executive rooms. What was executive about the rooms i dont know as they were small and dingy, i am very short and could only just fit in the bath. The walls were thin and through the door you can hear all sorts of noise which did not help the sleep case. The spa looked lovely on the internet but when we visited it was dated and dirty. The age limit for the Jacuzzi is 16 but again it was full of kids jumping about, relaxation was out of the question. When we mentioned it to the attendant he was more bothered about how he looked rather than our enjoyment. April 9, 2015

As always, the food was of a very high standard and all the hotel staff we encountered were very polite and extremely efficient. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to all. April 9, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Great Stay We were going to the Murder Mystery Evening on the 4th April. Living some way away from the hotel we decided to stay an extra night. On arrival we were welcomed by the reception staff who were friendly and helpful. The room was very good clean and tidy with everything we could have wanted. The Murder Mystery Evening went well with a good meal. In the morning the breakfast was excellent. April 8, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slightly Disappointed On arrival at the Hotel the lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly as was all the staff that we came into contact with throughout our stay, Breakfast was extremely enjoyable and the Hotel has a brilliant fitness suite. As for the domestic staff, sadly the same cannot be said, Firstly our bathroom had 2 spots of blood on the wall just above the bin, I found finger/toe nails on the floor by the window, the top of the kettle had a hair on and the unit that the television sits had what looks like doors on the front, admittedly we could not open the doors but this is not an excuse for the think layer of dust that sat on the top, if the domestic is unable to open the doors as we were unable to they must still find a way to clean them and not just leave them for the dust to accumulate, I feel angry that I did not point these issues out to staff at the time but every time we saw anyone they were always rushing around. I have said I would stay at this Hotel again as for what we paid we had exception value for money but if the room was found to be in the same state I would not be able to stay, Also there was no mattress or pillow protectors, this was probably the reason for the big blood mark on one of our pillows it was about the size of a 50p, Lucky the other pillows were ok.
