Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Local stay The front desk staff is very accomadating and friendly. I asked for a late checkout and was very willing to do so without hesitation. It does appear that some of the upgrades that were done to the rooms (painting) was not done properly. The paint was peeling off of some of the door frames which took away from the quality look of the rest of the room. This was the 3rd night I stayed here within a week and half. The first room had an issue with the AC unit but the staff was able to move me to a different room with no issue. January 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good place to stay This motel is on the interstate; getting on and off I-59 was easy. Clean and nice motel; clean and fresh room. Breakfast buffet is ok; priced a little high for the quality. Staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. We asked the front desk person for suggestion for some really good Cajun seafood, and she suggested a local place that was great! Over all, our stay was good. Slidell is only about 30 miles from the French Quarter, and we chose to lodge there instead of paying the higher prices in New Orleans during New Years. We would stay at this Holiday Inn again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable and clean. Once again my stay was excellent. I was greeted by name. The staff are friendly and professional from the GM to the maintenance dept. I would like to thank the GM Miss Mechelle, front desk crew, Penne, Michelle, Brandon, and Kaitlyn. The food is always great and Server Nikki does an excellent job. I can say I really and truly love staying here. It is the Best! January 20, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good night's sleep We were traveling from Orlando to Dallas and stopped in Slidell to rest. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The room was double queen beds. The furniture was very modern, with comfortable mattresses and very comfortable pillows that had embroidery on the cases that stated if the pillow was soft or firm. The bathroom was very spacious and the tub was the largest I've ever seen in a hotel. The wifi was pretty solid and speedy. Those are all the positives. The negatives: the lobby and hall smelled funny and not in a good way. The room price did not include a breakfast, which many hotels now offer. She told me I could add it, for an additional $20. In all, I feel that I had a very positive stay at this location and would stay there again, and also would recommend it. I felt very secure both in the parking lot and in my room. January 7, 2015
