Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Friendly, Helpful Staff and Comfortable Room Stayed two nights, since my husband had a training class near by the hotel. I just wanted to relax while he was at his class. I really enjoyed the heated indoor pool. The staff was very helpful. Jeff had to come to our room twice to help me with the internet connection. Our room including the free made to order breakfast. It was very good and waitresses were very nice. Jasmine at customer service was especially sweet. There was a refrigerator in the room, just wished they had a microwave too. I was told they would have a lot more television channels soon. That would be nice. We were on the first floor very close to pool, that was good. It was just a little noisy during the day due to a lot of maintenance going on. Including high pressure window washing. I know most everyone would not be sitting in a hotel room during the day like I was, so that was understandable. Hotel maintenance crew was really on the ball keeping up with everything. The carpet in room was gray so it made it look like it needed shampooing but could have just been the color. Thank You everyone for our very nice stay. We recommend Slidell Holiday Inn. I was also impressed that they had a car wash area available for there guest. They were not even the host hotel but provide much more than the competitive hotel. October 27, 2014
