Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Old and noisey This facility is in desperate need of update to match the HI quality I expect. The layout is odd and we had a hall on both side of the room. Outside of one of the doors was the ice machine with no sound barrier!!! The room next to us had a barking dog -- NOT A FAN of pet friendly! The front desk denied my request for RAGS to wipe down our motorcycle (this is a standard request from any rider and the facility will be in the heart of the Sturgis rally is 2 weeks). July 21, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This survey is too long This survey is too long. Flies in Restaurant. Alarm went off many times in restaurant. Billed for two orange juices I did not receive. They could not provide a Roll Away Bed as the night clerk could not get in the storage room. The toilet in the bathroom is "Child Size." Generally like the Holiday Chain of Hotels - but our stay in Spearfish was not outstanding. Would like like to eat in a restaurant with lots of flies? July 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 800 Miles from home After several nights in other hotels that made me miss the comfort of my own home, this was a pleasant change of pace. Spacious, very clean room, the windows were clean and in good shape which warrants mentioning, there were no lingering odors from other guests. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. I will definitely consider the Holiday Inn again. July 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Without restroom all night The bed was very nice, we like a softer bed due to our age...that is the end of the positives. We checked in and the place looked like they were working on updating, carpet in our room was very old and worn. Then when we closed the restroom door with the light on for a night light type use, the door was locked, so I then called the front desk and the gentleman informed me that there was nothing they could do until Maintenance came in at 8:00 A.M. the next day. He then called our room 10 minutes later and said they would take 60.00 off our bill and that they were not supposed to give out the room we were in due to the door damage in the restroom. This left me wondering what customer service meant! Luckily the exercise room had a restroom that we were able to walk down to in the middle of the night. So at 8:00 A.M. I had to go back to the front desk and request the restroom door opened again, the night guy had left no note. WE are very disappointed with the stay and would not use this property again...excepted better from a Holiday Inn. July 9, 2014
