Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great beds and pillows but rest less than average Love the great mattress and the king sized (4) pillows. All those little pillows of various densities in some HI Expresses did not come close to this set up in Tulsa at the HI Hotel. The bar is great for some traveler's over a bad complimentary breakfast but I needed neither during my stay so cannot comment on bar and the not complimentary dining. No vent fan in bathroom results in mildew on tile in this 4 yr old hotel. Despite being there 3 days, they never replaced any bulbs for exterior lighting at the entry. The parking lot is lit by the competing hotel's poles so it is dim by the time it reaches the HI. I informed them of bad lighting outside but no fix. Stains on couch and much remaining hair in room on arrival. Fairly priced if the light bulbs were fixed outside but the cleaning of the rooms is not very careful. The newness and current decor almost made up for the lacks. Staff is almost smiling upon check in but not warm. November 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay We had to stay a couple of nights in Tulsa to attend a funeral. We didn't know we were going to stay at this hotel but it turned out to be a nice surprise. We had been staying in Holiday Inn Express' properties for the previous 5 nights and were used to nice hotels and this one is beautiful. The only thing I would say against the place is that, unlike the Express line, the Inns do not include breakfast. We didn't mind but the staffing was a bit light at 8 in the morning so service was a bit slow. The wait staff was very accommodating but we never received our complete order although we were charged for it--our bacon never arrived and the wait staff didn't come back to take our payment.
