My boyfriend and I were exploring Chicago for his birthday. We had a long day of doing silly touristy things and were ready for a nice relaxing end to our night.
Overall, our stay at this hotel meant we had a place to sleep. The floor in our room was squishy/sticky and the entire second floor smelled really musty. The air conditioner in our room made this really awful buzzing noise and while it definitely cooled the room down - it was still really humid.
However, the staff members were incredible. They were so, so busy with the phones and customers in line but they managed to keep their cool and get everyone checked in. I would have lost it. There was this awful woman who repeatedly butted to the front of the line to tell them that they were doing their job wrong when they were honestly doing the best they could. Serious Kudos to them.
Also, we didn't get the chance to use it but the pool area looked aamaaazing. It was nice and clean and I was so mad that we came in too late (after dinner) to use it.
The WiFi was super fast and the cable was nice. Beds were very clean and comfy. There was a sincere lack of outlets (had to unplug things to plug my phone charger in) but we made due.
I really would have liked a continental breakfast (for the price I paid) in the morning. I was really disappointed that it wasn't included. Oh well.

Our stay at this Holiday Inn was a great way to end our trip! The rooms were spacious and super comfortable. Had a great night's sleep! Made use of the free area shuttle to and from the mall...great added service! Front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Never seen a hotel with it's own 'Tahitian village'...great idea! I would definitely recommend this hotel and visit again if I'm in the area.

I stayed there and upon check-in they gave me a card that was business card sized and it says that I will receive 5000 bonus points for completing my survey. I have already sent in my survey and I have inquired about the bonus points and still no response. I will have to post it here again if this is the only site that they respond to. I was happy with the timely, or lack of service while staying at the hotel and so far I'm not happy with them advertising to me an incentive to do a survey then not fulfill their side by crediting the bonus points.
