Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JLy12 Friendly staff, clean hotel
This was a day visit in Albuquerque on the way north from Texas. Staff was friendly at the check-in counter and the breakfast area. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast items were readily refilled. Hotel is within walking distance to the Historic Old Town. Would stay in this hotel if passing Albuquerque again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ILtraveler53 WOW, the place to stay
From the moment that I walked into the lobby, I was welcomed by the front desk. Initially, I thought that this hotel was converted from a different property but soon found out that it was a recent build. The rooms were spacious, the lobby and other areas were very well designed. The lounge area was connected to the lobby however was separated in order to allow some privacy. The areas were well lit with both natural and artificial light. We had a great night sleep, a good breakfast and was greeted by the manager. During breakfast, the manager went from guest to guest to welcome them to the hotel, ask if there were any concerns and to assist travelers with the questions that they might have regarding the area. If you are traveling in this area...this IS the place to spend the night.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Deemarie great place to stay
This was a great hotel, clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that they need a shuttle to take people to Old Town all the time . The shuttle only goes for a short time and not in the evening. This was a problem because we had to use a taxi to get there and the taxi was not a good experience. Otherwise it was a great place to stay

I left my camera in the room. Realizing that I had done so 30 minutes after leaving I immediately called the hotel. They were able to locate the camera and return it to me. Thanks!

Have to pay more to view parking lot as that is called a mountain view. In order to see the mountains you have to go to the window of the rooms in which we have stayed. From the bed and most of the room you can only see the other wing of the building or the office building next door. Was ankle deep in water by the time we finished our showers. They did fix it since we had to stay 2 nights and pointed it out to them. Also the toilet seat won't stay up men. No soap dish or hand rail in the shower.
Overall it is a good place to stay and we would recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MidwestVisitor2013 Comfortable Rooms and Excellent Staff!!
We were so happy with our experience at his hotel. Upon arrival, we asked about upgrading to a suite so our family had more room to spread out. The room had a sofa, two tv's and two bathrooms. It was such a treat compared to spending similar money elsewhere for a smaller room.
The hotel is new and is well-appointed, quiet, comfortable. The staff really made the experience top notch. They always had a friendly smile, time to chat, and their business manager provided a lot of tourist information at breakfast so we could make the most out of our stay.
Location was very convenient to Old Town and downtown area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel!!

We always stay at Holiday Inn Express when traveling. The rates are reasonable, the breakfast is a generous bonus when traveling with children, and the accommodations are predictable. The Old Town Holiday Inn Express is our favorite and we’re already planning our next visit. The overall customer service sets this HIE apart from all others where we’ve stayed. Although we prefer to keep our assigned room clean and tidy without daily service from the housekeeping staff, we found them to be available, friendly, and they provided us with the items we requested without hesitation. Another nice touch is the friendly gentleman who casually visits with guests in the breakfast area. He’s a fountain of knowledge about local attractions and directions. Although it certainly doesn’t detract from my overall satisfaction, I have a suggestion for future planning/change. The area designated for smoking is in the pathway of those who must use handicapped parking. It would be great if that area was moved to the other side of the hotel entrance so that folks who need handicapped parking could enter the hotel without passing through that sometimes smoky space.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by shaquila23 MY fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express
I was finishing up my tenure as a Girl Scout leader and we decided to stay at this property. What a dream! It was a Friday that we checked in and the night flowed smoothly. The pool is the perfect temp and so was the jacuzzi. It was a very comfortable setting and well decorated. The beds were luxurious and super comfy! On check out morning we went down to have breakfast and it was very well stocked. Anything from pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy to whatever kind of cereal my daughter wanted to eat. I realized when I get home and unpacked I had left my swimming suit. Which any woman knows is a horrible moment!! I called the front desk and told her I thought it might be stuck in the towels. She was so kind and wonderful. She went upstairs; searched thru the towels and brought my suit down. When she called I thought "Wow this place is awesome. I heartily recommend staying here whether from town a staycation or on vacation.
