Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Experience My husband and I stayed here last weekend. As soon as we entered our room, we smelled mildew. Upon entering the bathroom, I found that the toilet was leaking where the base of it meets the floor. I immediately went to the front desk and was told they would send someone to look at it. We went out for a little while and when we came back, it was still leaking. They said someone had checked it but didn't find any problem. I brought it to the attention of the front desk employee a second time and she said she would have it checked again, but that there was no other room available, as the hotel was completely booked. The toilet contented to leak the entire time we were there and the odor of the room, although not related to the toilet issue, was repulsive. When we went to check out, we waited for twenty minutes, even though there was only one guest in front of us. When it was our turn, the receptionist never asked how our stay was, if we enjoyed ourselves, etc. She simply wanted to know if I wanted to use points or become a rewards member. HORRIBLE experience. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for less than I paid to stay here. Would not recommend to anyone. November 25, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Large Rooms Beds were comfortable, sheets clean, and LARGE compared to most. Air conditioner did not cool correctly in either room - we had two. Location was convenient to UGA but across from projects. Elevators are really small, stairs odd, Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Staff VERY friendly and eager to help. Price made up for most negatives - would stay here again. November 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Management Had a visit with UGA on Friday. Reserved room for Thursday evening, wanted Friday evening also but was told they were sold out. Was told by front desk to call everyday the week prior to Friday evening to see if there had been any cancellations. I was told it was first come first serve. I called approximatly 6 times prior to our arrival. On Wednesday, when I called I was told that when we arrive ask again and the gentleman was certain we would be able to get a room for Friday evening. When checking in, we were told to check the following morning. After we had breakfast we went to front desk and the receptionist was about to give us a room when the MOD walked over and said we could not have the room unless we would be staying Saturday night also. It was a 2 night minimum reservation. She would not allow us to stay the 2nd night unless we booked 2 additional nights (we only wanted one). So, we had to check out and find a room elsewhere for Friday night. Upon returning home I called the Hotel to ask a few questions. One being, why had I been calling for 5 days prior to our stay and not one person mentioned the 2 night stay (Friday and Saturday). The MOD explained that the employees knew this was the requirements but it woud "take too long to explain the rule to me"! Yes, she actually told me that. I even said to her "Listen to what you just said, you just told me your employees didnt want give me all the information because it was a lot to say".I replied "Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds?" instead your employees told me to keep calling to check on availability, instead of telling me it would NEVER become available for one night. I asked who she reported to that I wanted to talk to someone that could explain this situation to me. She then transferred me to her boss, and I left a voicemail asking him to please return my call. I left a message on his phone on November 8, today is the 16th and I have yet to hear back from him. November 16, 2015
