The rooms and always clean and the staff is great. We really enjoy the selection and quality of the breakfast. Would recommend these hotels to anyone. September 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always reliable I know through the years that the Boone Holiday Inn Express will always deliver their quality consistently. If there is anything they might want to update is their a/c units which are quite loud and not always spot on with the temperature. Our son is going to App State now as well, we are looking forward to many more stays to come. September 14, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Somewhat Disappointed My wife and I spent four nights at HIE, Boone, NC, while conducting a family wedding in the area. I was disappointed that as a platinum member we were not offered an upgrade, even though I counted numerous rooms with balconies. We were disappointed with the comfort of the mattress in the room, as well as small items such as dirty trash cans in the room. Further, as we were there for four consecutive nights, we were disappointed that the breakfast menu never varied at all. The staff at breakfast area, housekeepers and most of the desk staff were friendly and accomodating. The desk staff at time of check in and check out seemed to have wished to be elsewhere. Also, as we needed to iron clothing for the wedding, we were disappointed to find that the ironing board in the room was broken down and unusable. This problem was quickly corrected by front desk and housekeeping. September 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Maid service My husband and I would like to recognize one of the ladies that went out of her way to help my husband locate his glasses. Her name was Ms. Hess. She was very helpful, she even went through our garbage which was beyond the call of duty. She should be commended for her helpfulness. We also offered to tip her and she refused the money.
