Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Past its "sell by date" Normally, I find Holiday Inn Express hotels a pleasure to stay in, unfortunately on this occasions, it missed the mark - by a country mile, and it was my first visit there. The car parking costs information was incorrectly displayed meaning I had to pay twice to get the correct tarriff (pay £4 and a hotel voucher and NOT £2.50 as shown in the board!!) The staff were great, it was the hotel that let them down. Wind howled and whistled around my room window and as the wind increased, it kept blowing open the window no matter how hard I tried to slam it shut and latch it - 6 times in all from midnight onwards. This combined with 3 separate knocks on my door by people between midnight and 3am who seemed to think that I was in their room, meant I had one of the worst nights sleep in ages whilst being away on business. I won't be stopping there again if I can help it. December 16, 2014

Desde fuera no parecía que el hotel tuviera las buenas instalaciones que posee. El trato del personal a la llegada, durante la estancia y a la salida fue plenamente satisfatoria. Cuando vuelva a Bristol, volveré al hotel. December 16, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by clean rooms breakfast a let down Rooms were spotless and comfortable but breakfast is a shambles not enough tables to accomodate number of guests had to.stand and wait then.when eventually seated ate for the 2 mornings with a table full of dirty dishes. Not enough food put out and a long wait for it also 2 toasters for the whole dini h room . December 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 nice clean room.shame about breakfast experience Rooms spotless and comfortable but breakfast experience was a shambles no tables available to sit and eat no fresh food put out had to wait quite a while and had to eat with dirty plates on table on the 2 mornings as nobody cleaning them . Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel was great value for money and there were many details that I would not have expected from a budget hotel. For instance, a choice of pillows and very good quality mattress and towels. Hot drinks were available 24 hours not just in the room but in the lounge/bar area, and there was a hot choice on the Continental breakfast menu. December 7, 2014
