Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel! We really enjoyed our visit to Burlington. The only drawback was that the hotel's pool was closed for renovation but they gave us free admission to the water park nearby which made up for the pool being closed. We will be going back next year! August 19, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A Let Down There are not too many hotel choices in Burlington, IA. I stay at IHG properties because they offer a consistent package wherever I travel. I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed my stay and my room. I expected no difference this time. However, on this occasion, not that my stay was unenjoyable, but the overall product was "a let down" compared to other IHG properties. The bathroom needed updating as wallpaper was peeling off in the shower area. There were a couple spots of mold coming through the wallpaper. I was also disappointed because I had to move the night stand to find a functional electrical plug near the bed. And the food quality for the cooked items was sub-standard. August 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disencanted in Burlington IA I understand that this hotel will be going through some renovation soon. This hotel is long overdue for this supposed renovations. The first red flag was the moment I walked into the lobby. The mop bucket and slip hazard signed are stored at the wall next to the dining area, and the vacuum was stored against the wall in the dining room. The ice machine in the lobby had a leak. Someone placed a hand full of towels to soak up the water and a fake plant to hide it. The few days I was there it had not been fixed. The entire 3rd flood had a distinct moldy odor. Under the sink in the room I found black mold. The furnishing were outdated and dirty. I could not sit on the couch. The floors in the bathroom was so filthy, and the carpets were ripped in some areas. I asked to be moved off the floor to another room. I found the second room to be almost as equally dirty. The showerhead was in a desperate need of cleaning, it had turned red. I have picture, but the link will not allow me to download them. August 14, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Promised room not available After being promised a non smoking room we arrived late in the evening after 11 hours of driving. Upon arrival we were told only smoking rooms were available. The clerk did offer us a non smoking handicap room which we turned down as this did not seem proper as we were not handicap. The room smelled horribly of old, musty tobacco. The bedding, curtains reeked. The deodorizing spray the clerk gave us filled the room with a chemical odor that gave both my wife and I headaches. Smell was so bad my wife left the room at 3 am and tried to sleep in a chair in the lobby. The clerk saw her but did not even bother to inquire if everything was alright. Room did not have enough towels. The exterior of the hotel and the parking area is dated and old looking. August 12, 2015
