The staff are not tuned into customer service. They do not volunteer any helpful hints or "hotel quirks". The rooms are OK for a night stay (nothing to write home about; however, adequate). A bit pricey due to the location within a short distance of the casino. The "10 minute stroll" should be evaluated. If you are a power walker, maybe. The standard rooms do NOT have refrigerators and microwaves. The staff did not tell us that nor did they offer the option to upgrade to a room that had these. For folks with medication requiring cooling, this is a problem. The pool is being repaired (late July?). They do offer admission to water park across the street (drive over, gazillion people, etc.). Was an overall disappointment.

Pros: location, parking
Cons: dirty tile in rooms, fruit flies all over fruit in lobby, dated lobby and rooms. Lobby still has a pay phone in the year 2015! Very expensive for the location and as compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Not disappointed or surprised at expectations for this hotel. Fairly new. Not close to many good places to eat and drink, but easy to drive to downtown for that.

Rooms do not have a refrigerator nor a microwave, only the suites.
I am a platinum member and was told they were sold out and could not move me.
Looking for new hotel to stay at.

Not really concerned about the customer. Seemed more interested in the people coming instead of the customer right in front of them.

I come to Burlington once a year n business. I always stay at the Holiday Inn Express as I know what to expect and have a high comfort level while I am there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the area.
