Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great overnighter Typical new build, clean and comfortable with fantastic staff. We particularly like HI Express for accommodating 3 adults in a room. Sofabed is another double and fairly comfortable. Being an airport hotel breakfast is served from a very early time, great when you have to be somewhere by 8am. We will certainly add this hotel to our list of preferred accommodation when travelling to our sports events. Thank you again HI Express. September 4, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Watch the parking I have stayed here on numerous occasions and this is my preferred hotel for visiting the area. The problem with my most recent stay was that the new car parking registration system failed and I have received a bill for car parking in spite of registering my car number on the touchpad at reception. No problem with the hotel ensuring that guests only park but it would be nice if the touch pad worked correctly saving guests the need to appeal against the charge. August 31, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Best Experienced practically no sleep during the nights stay. Caused by dogs barking outside the bedroom door and the fire alarm going off every hour until three thirty in the morning. When I explained these problems to the reception staff in the morning, they appeared completely disinterested and offered no form of an apology whatsoever. Breakfast was not a cooked breakfast as expected, but continental, the cooked breakfast was not served until later, which was not explained to me on booking. August 28, 2014

Originally wanted to give us a smoking room - we didn't even know such rooms were still available. The beds were uncomfortable. The room was cold. Certainly not up to the standard of other Holiday Inns I have stayed in. I will not stay here again. August 27, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Staff handled a poor situation well Not my best experience of a Holiday Inn with very disrupted sleep( Fire Alarm activation/fault). Appreciate it was a fault but upon Check Out i would have expected the staff to clarify and offer apologies for this. Not happy to also receive a 100 Pound fine for Parking from Parking Eye.
