Always willing to help and go the extra mile, the entire staff is what makes the stay "feel like home". As a business traveler, this makes all the difference. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in the Carson City area. May 20, 2013

We have stayed three times now and have received the nicest welcomes and comfort and bend over backwards attention. We have occasions to go to the more affluent hotels in California. If you ask us which one we want to stay at it would be HIE in Carson. THE BEST April 29, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My purse was returned! My son and I traveled to the Reno NV area to look at schools. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Carson City. We were struck by the friendly and sincere staff at both the front desk and in the eating area. And a big thank you to the honest housekeeping staff. The morning after we arrived home I realized that I left my nice purse in a drawer in the room. I called right away and Jane was waiting for my call. (The travel group didn't have my number correct on the reservation.) She was very nice and honestly I wasn't sure I would ever see my purse again. She instructed me on how to print out a mailing label which I thought was beyond her job. I faxed it to her and a few days later I had my purse back! Jane is a very kind lady and a great asset to the Holiday Inn company. We will return and I will be sure to stop by and thank her again for her honesty and kindness. March 18, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad breakfast, room fine Sorry , but for the first time a Holiday Inn Express was disappointing. Worst breakfast experience ever. I will never understand why on a busy weekend no one is constantly monitoring the food area. Everything was out! And nobody there. When she finally came she decided to clean some tables instead of getting more food. There were 17 people in line waiting and we were all wondering what was going on. She finally brought bacon , it was instantly gone. Very thin and dried out I might add. Ten minutes later she brought biscuits. Finally about a half hour later she brought eggs . They were unevenly heated, warm and cold ,and in pulverized ant size bites. We tried to ask her about getting more food and she didn't appear to speak english? I would like to say that was a first for a Holiday Inn. After two days we moved to the one down the road in Minden , Nv. Everything there was great with an extremely nice and efficient attendant at the food area. We all know these breakfast are not exactly gourmet food but they should not be out and the food should be hot!! Heater was awful too! January 5, 2013
